Same, although it all comes down to price for me. I’m not willing to pay much more than the currenet 12.9in iPad price. Any more than £1,250 for an iPad 13in is bonkers imo. But let’s see…
I respect that. The price is going to be the biggest drawback, I think that’s why Apple has plans on introducing the 12.9 iPad Air… to lessen the blow of the price increase of the 12.9 Pro.

I like to juggle some creative apps (Photoshop, Affinite Suite… used LumaFusion but moved toward the Mac with FCP) while using a external monitor, so… I’m looking to see where Apple place the 16GB RAM cap at.

Then I’ll follow suit... determine how much I’ll sell my current iPad Pro, that would go into the cost.

I’m very interested to see how the Air will be priced. Conversely, Apple may think they can raise the price of the 13in Pro if they have a similar sized Air version.

I find 60hz headache-inducing on an iPad for some reason so will just keep my 2018 Pro longer if the new one is so expensive. I just use it for browsing and media consumption primarily so cannot justify it like you can. I will happily put the money towards an RTX 5090 instead later this year, lol.

I’m going to guess given what happened with the M2 iPad Pro and 10th Generation iPad that if the rumours are correct that the iPads will launch next Tuesday then they will launch on April 3rd. As the 10th Generation iPad and the M2 iPad Pros were announced on October 18th and were released on October 26th.

Why do I feel like they will announce the new iPads tomorrow and take preorders next Tuesday and make them available on April?

iPad Pro 11" 128GB (which is currently out of stock on the Apple Store) has been giving shipping date of April 10th - 17th for a while now. This could be an indication of when the new iPad Pros will ship.

That exact model will be delivered tomorrow if I order one at the Apple Store in The Netherlands. Does not look like that is any indication.

Definitely enough smoke to say this week not happening but now wonder if next week will be release too or not due to holiday.

That's personally why I thought they wouldn't have launched them next week. Unless it's announcement next week and release a week or so later like they did with the 2022 iPad Pro and 10th Gen iPad.

It is important to note that China is halfway across the world, so their time zone is half a day ahead, so the announcement date could actually be March 25th. Remember what happened when a source in China said the Vision Pro would be released on a Saturday? I'm setting my alarm early in the morning on March 25th just in case the iPad Pro is announced then so I can preorder mine

I think it's almost a certain that the new iPads are being announced next week
Actually, the exact words on Instant Digital's Weibo are "The manufactures in China start shipping the CASE AND SCREEN PROTECTOR for two sizes of new iPad Air to their oversea clients now", rather than the new iPad Air itself.

Hm, that could well be the first domino starting to fall. Realistically you'd expect supplies of the current model to dry up in the run-up to an announcement. If we start to see much more of this, an announcement next Monday or Tuesday is practically confirmed.

Yes. There were rumors and leaks regarding a 14” iPad Pro being the “ultimate iPad experience”. After using the Tab S8 Ultra 14.6”, the 12.9” on the iPad Pro is now small.
Ultimate is such an odd descriptor. It usually denotes the final in a series, but I suppose it can imply the ultimate within a certain context. Perhaps it should be described as the Penultimate iPad experience. ;)
