*sigh* here we go again...
So I just checked the shipping dates for the iPads. Usually on Tuesday, delivery dates for the iPads are Friday. But after the announcement, it skipped Friday and it says it will be delivered on Monday.

Edit: I forgot this Friday is Good Friday...

f***K I am on vacation next week and I am going to have to check this crap when I am on vacation. sad panda.

Well I for one am gutted that there hasn’t been an announcement today, more so as my trusted Gen 4 12.9 sold this afternoon and I am now sans iPad until the new models are released.

I wonder if Apple representatives actually monitor these threads and know of the demand?!!

After I saw WWDC announcement instead of iPad, I am very exhausted. I'll probably stop tracking stuff to look out for the new iPad. Whenever I wait for an Apple product, wait time gets cursed and it gets even longer. Probably it's even my fault for waiting this long for the new iPads. My bad.

what if the iPads are not announced till wwdc

That, I think is a distinct possibility. Sadly. They don’t have anything else to show off after all, M3 Mac Studio and Mac Pro aren’t exactly worthy of a stage announcement. Could be a total refresh announcement across the line.

I was holding out on a Best Buy gift card to see what’s new and maybe passing down my M2 11” to my son, but his 2018 IPP is still running strong and nothing new as of today. Think I will just get a pair of HomePods and call it a day.

My 11” iPad Pro Gen 3 2021 edition is still running like a beast.

Absolutely no need to upgrade :)
My 2018 12.9in iPad Pro is still doing very well. RAM is an issue now in safari and the battery is dreadful, but aside from that my experience would not change at all with a 13in OLED iPad. Still tempted though.... price permitting.

Yeah same here, 2018 12.9” ipad pro doing great……BUT…… I want a new one 🤣 Im looking forward to OLED and seeing what the new magic keyboard / pencil are going to be like. (Have been holding off temptation to buy a macbook air)

The M3 MBA for £1020 at Costco is very tempting and would be fine for my use. It's just not quite as easy to use casually as a 13in iPad. But if the new Pros are mega money I will hold off. Maybe WWDC will be kind to iPad OS, right? A man can dream.

I really really like the 15” MacBook Air, that size is just perfect. But that screen…., i am used to a 12,9” M1 with Mini-LED and then a LCD one is just not an option anymore.

Seems like we are at the "rationale" phase now, with everyone now saying they don't need a new iPad.

I have been using iPads since 2012 and this is the first time in as long as I can remember, that I don’t currently have one! (Sold both yesterday and today)

I’m at the phase of praying to the spirit of Steve Jobs and all that is Apple, for a sign of an imminent release!

I sometimes think Apple doesn’t really like the iPad. The entire hype cycle right now is full of iPhone 16 and WWDC, which is four months away, and nothing about iPads, really, except: m3 chip, new keyboard, new pencil, landscape camera. Ho hum.

As someone who really likes tablet form-factor computers, I really wish there was more stuff I could do on mine, but apple seems intent on really keeping the iPad use case niche.

Sure, it may seem that way. But Apple accepts third party apps on the App Store that lets users have desktop class multitasking experience with web apps like one of the apps I've made. I just don't think Apple really knows which direction they should take the experience to without compromising Macs.

Uhh I cannot wait to upgrade from my 2018 11 inch Pro. Hoping to get the 13 inch this time around. The 11 inch is just far too small to be productive on. :) I have a good feeling about next week though!
