There is a possibility about tomorrow, but at this point, as much as I hate to admit it, we might have to continue being patient before we can eviscerate our wallets. I know I've complained about iPadOS, but I am still very much looking forward to getting my M3 iPad Pro

I have bitterly complained about iPad OS, but still want to look at any new OLED Pro model lol. My M1 Pro is fine, but OLED.... mmmmm

WWDC.

The OLED iPad Pro will have a different form factor. It's a big enough change that it requires presentation at an event. I'm now convinced we won't see new iPads until June.

Also another possibility, is they want a proper launch event to highlight all the new tech to sell it to you, so they can try and justify any price rises.. a press release isn't as good at getting that message across as someone lavishing love and fancy catch phrase words about a product love on stage, then drop the price increase bomb, pure speculation for sure.

In case you are looking for hope: I just took a look at the original weibo page of the leaker "Instant digital" and on it, they never claimed the launch would be the 26th, instead they claimed it would be some time this week. They even responded to the question "What do say to Gurman denying the launch on the 26th"? with "When did I ever say it's the 26th?"

I think OLED for 11” will be mind blowing. But if you now have mini-led (like myself) i don’t believe it will be that much better.

Maybe for the blooming but for color and contrast I don’t see a leap forward.

The wait is killing me on this one. Six weeks ago, for the first time since I started buying them 2007, I broke the glass on an i-device, my 4th gen iPad Pro. I've been living with it, but 5 seconds after the new ones are available I'm ordering.

5 whole seconds? It’ll be out of stock

Samsung is the only other decent tablet, IMO. But while iPad is getting kind of boring, I already use MacBooks and iPhones, so it makes sense to stay with iPads. Plus, Samsung has no cellular model, which is odd.

If I was Samsung, I would get a Fold. Then I wouldn't need a sperate tablet.

I am pretty sure you can get an Tab S9+ in cellular.

The iPhone 7 Jet Black is still the most gorgeous iPhone I've seen.
Aah that Jet Black iPhone was amazing and horrible at the same time.

It was gorgeous out of the box but my wife had one and after two weeks of normal use it looked like it was 15 years old. “Patina” they called it in the Apple Store 🤣

I've just bitten the bullet and bought a discounted 11-inch Pro. I've accepted that OLED, even though it will look fantastic, will be out of my price range for this generation and I haven't used an iPad since the Air 2, which I traded in at least 5 years ago, so I know it will still be a significant improvement on my last experience either way. Best of luck with the announcement everyone!

Whow so a couple of days before the launch of the new one? The old ones are always going down in price so waiting for release is also a better option if you still buy the old one.

I can understand your point. It just seems like a good time for me, with the discount plus going back to school after Easter and having time to set everything up over the holiday. I've also had to replace my Mac today because my old one died, and I wanted to get everything done in one go!

Samsung's Galaxy tab S9 performance is so bad compared to the current ipad Pro. The new ipad OLED pro will freaking destroy it when it comes out. Samsung is a joke

Not really. Really, its getting childish attacking Samsung like this, especially since they make many of Apple's parts.

Interestingly, just the Plus. The Ultra, their top of the line, and the regualr S9 don't seem to have a cellular option. And the Plus only has it in 256GB option, not 512GB. Makes no sense why its so limited.

Anyone look at the Surface Pro 10? That looks to be the solution I am most looking for. I had a laptop and iPad and ended up needing both. Sold both and now am strongly considering Surface Pro 10 as a solution for both tablet and laptop.
