Anyone look at the Surface Pro 10? That looks to be the solution I am most looking for. I had a laptop and iPad and ended up needing both. Sold both and now am strongly considering Surface Pro 10 as a solution for both tablet and laptop.

64GB RAM option too. 1TB drive, but thanks to that easily upgradable SSD, you can get 2TB. That's pretty good specs for a tablet. Though the graphics is still integrated Intel. And at 2 pounds, its half a pound heavier than an iPad Pro 12.9 - which is pretty heavy to me already.

That's suspiciously in the business site only. I'd wait for a consumer model. There probably will be more options. For instance, the only cpu configuration are the 165 and 135 (can't remember if these were U or H). The U chips are 9w, and the H are 28watts, although the H chips have efficiency cores, obviously. Point is, the 155 is missing from that lineup, as is a possible Qualcomm X. I would only buy the 155 right now. It may be because the 155 is allocated to the consumer models, that it's missing.

Usually, its the business end that gets more options (like cellular). Though I don't see that option yet. Otherwise, business and consumer had the same options.

Though it bugged me that the maxed out versions never got a black option, just silver. Black was limited to only certain lower models.

Instant Digital is wondering what's not ready for iPad Air 6 launch... it seems like he thinks everything is ready for iPad Air 6 launch at least.

Thanks. I'm curious about these.

Attacking. I don't get the impression that person actually used an S9. I like and use Apple stuff primarily, but I'm not blind to other stuff.
You have absolutely no way to say they did or did not use the device. It’s just your opinion, not a fact.

The new ones with OLED screens will be launched in May I believe, they will be more consumer orientated better Surface Pro computers. Google the rumours as it may be worth you holding on if you are after one.
They may even get a bit of a redesign, if you are after a device like that with a full blown desktop OS for all the programmes, I think Surface is the best option personally.

Remember when M1 iPad Pro with new miniLED panel was announced on April 20th and delivered in May 21st iirc?

OLED iPad Pros are giving me deja vu.

Maybe that's why these are limited to the business section.

a month wait for delivery would probably push me to get a discounted M2. I’m only using it for media consumption so I want the OLED but also not the end of the world. I mean for goodness sake my main consumption device is a 2015 MacBook Pro right now, any iPad is a step up for me lmao

I would get buyers remorse after seeing that OLED screen

It’s just past 6pm GMT and nothing new showing on the Apple Store.

So, another week without an announcement or any indication of when we can expect to be able to purchase the iPP M3 OLEDs.

Put us out of our misery already, Apple!

Pretty please..

If that’s your main consumption device then waiting makes just more sense right? There is no rush to get a M2 now if you are still using a 9 year old machine.

I'm waiting for the next Mini so who knows how long that could be. But, my wife is still using an Air 2 and is looking for the next Air. I don't have an iPad so once she gets a new Air I'll limp along on her old Air 2 until the Mini comes out.

I am done with the Pros now. I use them as mass consumption devices, and paying $1500-$2000 for an overpowered tablet is not cost-effective. The bigger iPads I had rarely left the docks. I am about the Mini life now.

I don’t have a MBP right know. Doing everything on a m1 12,9 but was thinking today. Maybe I buy a 16” mbp and a Mini.

It’s more expensive but there is something about the mini I really like.

FYI…..I bought an OLEDLG TV couple years ago and after a year, I got so tired of it not being bright enough, I gave it away as a gift and bought Samsung QLED. Now happy again. 👍 not everybody likes OLED.

Its light, even with the Apple folio case on. 0.6 pounds (an 11 is 1 pound and a 12.9 is 1.5 pounds). The Mini is one-hand-able too.

iPad Pros make sense if you don't have or use a regular laptop. Then its worth the price bump to get a little more power, size and capability.

But, as Star Trek' Mr. Scott said "the right tool for the right job, lad."

MacBook Pro for work, iPad for fun.
