When exactly is the MacBook Pro shipping?

Depends on how early ordered it. I ordered mine the second the store was back up so have a ship date of Feb 7th. A lot of people seem to have Feb 15th. If you order today you will be at the back of the queue so expect a ship date of later than the 15th.

I ordered yesterday and have a ship date of 15th
 
My local Apple store said they'll be in the store the end of February. So you lose a week or two if you wait to buy it in the store it seems.

I know but I've read through enough posts over the years to know how picky OS X can be with RAM. Removing the potential hassle factor is worth it IMHO.

Yah I'm a little pissed about that. It took me an extra 5 minutes to order because I had to clear out my dream basket. At first I thought I had to click remove on the $15,000 worth of "stuff" in my basket. The bloody store was so slow it took 1 minute per item to remove. Eventually I figured out that you could just put 0 in the item #. :(

yeah. they're saying the 15th for basically everyone who didn't get in the first five seconds the store was open.

My guess is that they will ship a bunch on the 7th and the 15th...but if you ordered anytime after a day or two after release, im' sure you'll be later than the estimated date.
 
I placed my order 30-60 minutes after keynote. It says Feb 15th.

BUT, I do believe they'll be shipping earlier!

I don't know what else I can do to forget about it! I'm counting down every second!!!

I think it depends on where you live instead. All reports from the UK seem to be Feb. 7th, and all from the USA are Feb. 15th.

I'm already can be classified as an obscessive/compulsive as I check EVERYDAY/NIGHT my front door to see if there's something there and I check the order status at apple.com 2-3xx/day!

Plus: Don't want to use my HP computer anymore

Plus: Keep searching for something new about MBP on internet all the time during work

Plus: Can't have sex anymore....:confused:

I'm from belfast, ordered my macbook on sunday, and it's 15th of Feb for me too. I hope "15th Feb" is just Apple covering themselves or pulling that old trick: tell your girlfriend you'll be home by 1am, but make it home by 12 - and she'll be all pleased. ;)
 
I'm another from the UK with an "on or before 15th" date. Early would be good, but late would not be surprising. Remember the 2 x 2.5 GHz saga? That debacle was allegedly IBM's fault but....
 
I check my order status many, many times a day and for the first time it's giving me an estimated "delivered by" date in addition to the "ship by" date. It says Feb 21 and I even selected 2-day shipping. The "ship by" date remains Feb 15.

Sweet countdown! Anyone think these might ship a little earlier than expected? Most other computer manufacturer's have an estimated ship date, but 90 percent of the time the computer ships a week or so earlier. Any thoughts?
