That is the Indian Apple site. It is 17th for them now.
I forgot the procedure, if it is still necessary. I downloaded and installed the GM for IOS 14 on the 15th yesterday, and I'm wondering if I am supposed to download and install the public release that comes out today and if so how I do that. Thanks!
Apple's website still says September 16th 2020 on Apple Canada. Maybe changes are still propagating through the sites if they have delayed the release.

In India it's 23:15, right now... so i think it's all a matter of the different timezone.has been updated to say tomorrow

I got sick of waiting for it because I wanted to download it before work and then play around with my widgets and stuff at work so I just went to the public beta site and installed the profile. I recommend some of you do the same, its downloading super fast, and we'll all be ahead of the server crowd.
I just got the update for Xcode 12 through the Mac App Store.. the release of that usually coincides with the release of all the OS updates.
Wow, PR disaster. Guess it’s related to not giving developers enough time to test and approve apps following yesterday’s GM release. Makes sense if that’s the reason but Apple shouldn’t have done that in the first place. Except that Apple Watches with the new OS will be arriving Friday. The new OSs are coming, whether developers like it or not. If delayed, it won't be more than a day.
