Updates come out on different weekdays. Just because a number of them came out on a particular day of the week doesn't mean it doesn't make sense for hem to come out on another day of the week given that plenty of updates have come out on other days of the week.

That doesn't mean a thing.

By that logic all OS X 10.11.2 betas have been on Tuesday's. But they pushed 10.11.2 beta 5 out yesterday. Which 90% means 9.2 beta 5 today. (The two updates will be releasing the final to the general public same time as most OS X and iOS point updates happen. So a fifth 10.11.2 beta means 9.2 fifth beta around the corner.)

Apple has been quite predictable with times of day things are released - 10AM Cupertino time - 1PM Eastern unless it's an urgent bug fix - those could happen any time.

You're forgetting the all important fact that Apple releases OS X and iOS point updates together.

10.11.2 just got beta 5 yesterday. They won't release 9.2 final before 10.11.2.

Same happened in Yosemite. 10.10.1/8.1, 10.10.2/8.2, 10.10.3/8.3, 10.10.4/8.4

10.11.1/9.1, and will be 10.11.2/9.2
