If they keep up with the current performance improvements then a lot of people are going to be much happier once public release comes. I've been using beta 3 and 4 on my Air 2 and its much much better. Not perfect, but much better......and I use my iPad very heavily.

my Air 2 runs alot better than my 6 plus+ on 9.1
and pretty impresive its on the same level as 6S, Air 2 is also quad core, does big thing with extra core hehe 
If no beta today, we will see public release next week. Its been very stable since beta 3 and IMO its been ready for public much more than the piece of trash 9.1
