Currently on Apple clear case, which is super slippery. Ordered Peel case and another order waiting from Aliexpress for shockproof case.
Used to get one for old phone and back matte material is best to touch.
Price point definitely define the justice for that material which we cannot find in any premium line above £50

While waiting for my apple silicone to arrive, I picked up a Ringke onyx from Amazon for £7.99. I am really impressed with it! So much so that the apple case will have to be so so good for me to keep it and not return for my money back. Seriously good value for money for the 8 quid.

I don’t have a MagSafe charger yet, do they work fully and at 15 watts on cases that don’t include magnets?

For anyone waiting for the Apple leather cases, I have just found that ESR have black and blue genuine leather cases available; https://www.esrgear.com/products/iphone-12-12-pro-metro-premium-leather-case/

I have checked few YouTube videos and Amazon reviews of them from previous models and they seem really good for a snippet of the cost of an Apple case (I don’t care for MagSafe).

If you shop about you can pick them up cheaper. I’ve just ordered a blue one off an eBay seller for £20. I’ll report back when I get it

they also have Magsafe built in which is awesome for the price. They had 20% off all iPhone 12 range a few days ago. I bought two car vent chargers, iPhone 12 pro Max case and screen protectors

These cover the notch and are pretty good.

I got the ESR ones and Mous ones. Olixar going back as it doesnt cover the notch. Got 5 sets of screen protector. Enough to keep me going till next year as i like to change every 8-10 weeks lol.

Isn’t the middle meant to curve in to be flush with the screen?

Also, did you mention you’re not returning the screen protectors that came with the case or were they a seperate purchase?

No they are not meant to be bent. Had same issue with leather limitless last year and i ended up exchanging with carbon variant which is flat. They are separate purchase but part of the order . Pack of 2 cost me less than a fiver as part of the bundle.

For those of you also looking for the thinest case possible, I ordered the Tozo Ultra Thin Hard Cover off Amazon and the Totallee Super Thin case in Frosted Black for my 12 pro.

The $9 Tozo case is on the left and has a warmer frosted grey finish
The $35 Totallee case on the right is darker and less see through

Besides the slight color differences they are nearly the same exact case down to the openings, thickness measured with a caliper and mold lines.

Going to see which one I like better with my Pacific Blue 12 Pro and return or keep the other as a backup.

Nice?
Does the Tozo case have a lip for screen protection?

I don’t think it’s MagSafe. I think it’s just compatible with wireless chargers.

I’m pretty sure those are not their MagSafe cases. ?

Picked up a Plum official case in John Lewis today. Put it on in the car and as I was driving away noticed a little piece of plum silicone on my hand. I wondered where it had come from and stopped to check the case...
Two pieces had chunked out of the case!

I went back in and showed the girl and they swapped right out for another. Thankfully there were 3 Plum left.
How strange!

Hello guys,

I bought blue and red silicone for my iPhone 12 and while my red one shows that MagSafe animation(screen flashes red-ish) when attaching the blue shows nothing.

Is it just bugged or is the case faulty? Anyone tried it?

Just ordered these two which with a combined discount came to about £11. They both have vouchers on their pages and then when you buy them together you get £2 off. I dont doubt the screen protectors may not be the best but for that price i thought why not.

will probably see what reviews well in a few weeks after release and get something better. Id love a clear case but really want to have the protection.

Got my Speck Presidio2 Grip today. The case looks great, fits well, and the buttons have good feedback. BUT there is no grip. That’s the whole reason I buy this case for every phone I buy. The grips are no longer soft rubber. Now, they are the same hard plastic as the rest of the case. They ruined a great case. True, the old style wasn’t as durable, and I could always count on having to buy a couple of them, but I was willing to take that trade-off for the superior grip. Plus, buying a new one have me an excuse to get a different color to freshen things up. The new one is more expensive and inferior, so it’s going back. I’ll read through the rest of this thread when I get a chance, and I’ll try to find my next option.

Maybe an apple silicone case for extra grip? I have the black silicone case on my 12 and it has to much grip. I’ve been really wanting to try the presidio grip, but I’ll wait until more reviews come in.

Does anyone know if full screen protectors affect the camera quality in any way? Would people recommend them or not?

It’s not just You. Got mine today and I hate it. They got rid of the rubber grip so it’s very slippery. It gets fingerprints easier too. Such a downgrade.

Sadly speck ruined the presidio grip 2 cases by removing the rubber grips so it’s going back. Only thing I like so far is the apple silicone. Hopefully the material is improved over the previous models.

Tech21 Evo Clear + ESR glass screen protector on my graphite!

After I picked up my phone from the Apple store, I went to Best Buy hoping they’d have some Spigen clear cases. They were sold out, so I decided to try the tech21 Evo Clear. VERY satisfied and impressed! I do wish the back was completely flat though—the camera cutout is raised. And, getting the phone in and out of the case can be a bit tough. The fit is very snug. The ESR glass screen protector was ordered on Amazon and covers 99% of the screen.

Does the back show many fingerprints? Is it a hard plastic back or tpu? I have always used tech21 but the evo check leaves too many fingerprints on the back I believe.

The back is a fingerprint magnet but I’m not bothered by it as much. I believe the material is tpu—very stiff tpu. It was tough getting the case on and off but the case IS bendable.
