That new Defender is not even on the Otterbox site yet. Maybe made specifically for Amazon like that Otterbox clear case(forgot the name)? And yeah, why is it cheaper if it is Defender with Magsafe? Shoudnt it be more expensive?

AT&T has it listed on their site, but out of stock. It was just put on there yesterday. I’m sure the otterbox website will show the XT shortly. They are just seeding all the vendors right now for launch.

If you are correct, then that kinda sucks. That means Smartish is selling the new/fixed cases to new customers BEFORE taking care of the folks that bought the case a month ago.

I still would advise folks not to buy the Smartish iPhone 12 cases yet. This has been a bad experience for a lot of us, and we don't know for sure that they are selling cases that fit right and don't require a 2-handed button push.

It took them 9 days to reply to you. That is the same sort of lapses I have been seeing. Poor case and poor communication.

I'm glad I also got a Totalee case. I can use it when I don't need the wallet function. Its great using a case that fits and easily allows you to press the buttons. Totalee got it right.
Well, I still don't have a replacement from Smartish. I ordered the Smartish Wallet Slayer Vol 2 on November 2nd. and have been a promised a replacement since about November 9th. Apparently they still don't have the button and fit correct. I advise not ordering the Vol. 2 yet. VERY disappointing...

Guess who still hasn't received his Sheath that was ordered on November 27. I don't remember how long my Sheath orders took for my previous iPhone, but this seems unusually long (I'm in Illinois). As I wrote previously, I still haven't opened my box yet (in fact, it's still in the UPS package) because I was waiting for my case to arrive. Well, it's been sitting "in transit" for days now, so I'm guessing the Pony Express is back in business.
I might have to stop by Best Buy tonight and pick up a temporary case, which I was trying to avoid having to do.
I ordered a navy blue sheath on Black Friday and it hasn't even shipped yet :( I guess they might be swamped.

I have always had horrible experiences with Caudabe customer support & shipping. I try never to order from them.

Hmm, that’s interesting. They’ve been great for me, but I guess experiences differ. Heck, I emailed them asking to return the graphite Lucid Clear I’d received last week and they got back to me today and said instead of returning it, to either give it to a friend or recycle it and they’ll be refunding my money. I was absolutely shocked.

I'm still waiting for a Speck Presidio2 Pro case I ordered on Black Friday. I think some of these vendors just got overrun during the black friday sales. They probably ran out of a couple items and are trying to replenish their stock so they can fulfil orders.

Just received my Presidio2 Pro today. I ordered right around Black Friday.

Hi all. Thanks to everyone for posting. Glad to see a community help each other on these forums.

Here’s my history. I purchased the Otterbox Symmetry+ from BestBuy but it was returned. Besides almost being impossible to fit (which isn’t a bad thing but annoying when trying to remove it without feeling like I’d bend the phone) the sides and black were too slick for my liking. All the buttons worked fine and weren’t sticky. Plus I don’t need MagSafe so I’m not losing sleep over it.

Up next was a case bought on Amazon, the ESR Air Armor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CXS9BPZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It was nice, had some good bumpers, and the back is sort of a frosted plastic. Buttons worked fine, and the cutouts looked fine as well. The camera area on the back was a little weird for me though. I think it was deep enough, and with the raised plastic it would wobble just slightly if you press on the upper left of the phone while on its back. I am going to return this though.

Second was a Spigen Neo-Hybrid.

Overall it felt much better than the ESR. Same issue with the raised camera housing on the back that will lead to wobble but it wasn't as bad and seems to offer a little more protection than the ESR. The texture of the back side is matte and felt really good without being too slippery for my taste. The buttons looked fine and the cutouts were just fine as well. One weird thing is the packaging doesn't specify the 12PM but rather 6.7", but it worked just fine. However, I think I will be returning this because...

I'm sticking with the Spigen Tough Armor.

I've had this on my iPhone 6s+ from which I'm upgrading from, and it just feels good. It's got a nice matte finish, doesn't attract fingerprints, and the cutouts looks great, especially the apple logo on the back. Also, this one seems to have a deeper area for the camera on the back, and doesn't wobble when the upper left if pushed down when on its back. On my work desk it's partially grippy but will slide just fine if I really move it. The front also hugs the edges and has what looks like a good raised edge to protect the screen.

Like I said, I'm not a MagSafe user so that feature wasn't tested on any of these. FWIW, the ESR and Neo Hybrid mention on their pages it will work, but that seems to be hit or miss from what I've read on Amazon.

Hopefully this review helps if you're eyeing these three cases.

All the best, stay safe, and Happy Holidays!
I really like the tough armor. I had the Apple leather, Apple silicone and some clear case off Amazon. I couldn’t believe that I like the clear case and this tough armor the better. I actually returned my Apple cases and cancelled my MagSafe wallets. But I’m starting to notice that a corner digs into my palm and starts to hurt after a while.
