Why are people so concerned about symmetrical cutouts? I know the speaker / mic holes are not symmetrical on the iPhone, but typically, symmetrical things look better, so don't symmetrical cutouts on a case in a way help to fix the iPhone's lack of visual symmetry? Personally, I could go either way.
For me, it's because I'd rather see the right amount of speaker holes inside the cutouts than a large cutout and a bunch of negative space. It's the same reason I wouldn't want the buttons to be symmetrical, too, with two buttons on the right side, even though there's only one power button, all for the sake of keeping things symmetrical.

Symmetrical cutouts on asymmetrical ports make me ?
It's like wearing a size 12 shoe when your feet are only a size 9  My OCD just can't handle it.

If anyone needs a deal on a Pelican Shield G10 just let me know?
Case-Mate sent me a second one after complaining about the color.

I got my Sheath, here it is next to the Aneu I’ve been using. I’m actually a bit disappointed, the volume up button is total mush. The Aneu has great buttons and better grip on the sides, but I do like the Sheath’s texture.

Little trick of the trade to help the buttons on the Sheath.

Take a razor blade and made a cut down the length of ONE side of each button. For the volume buttons, make two cuts...one for each button on one side. You don’t need to remove any material, just make a slice beside the button. It’ll improve the clickiness of the buttons completely.

You won’t be able to see the cuts and they won’t allow any debris into the case. I’ve been doing this to various cases for years and it always works.

A razor blade works best because it makes a cut that’s completely unnoticeable.

I’ve got 3 Sheath cases for the 12 Pro Max and I’ve done this to each one and it worked perfectly.

That’s good to know. I think at this point, I’m gonna order a Thin Fit and Color Brick from Amazon and see how all 3 compare to each other.

I’m on the hunt for a decent leather case again. I have been using my Baltic Blue Apple case since release and just recently it’s developed a really horrible stickiness to it. My previous Apple cases didn’t do this at all.

Or you could look at it like wearing one size 9.5 shoe and one size 10 shoe instead of both 10s because one foot is slightly smaller. A lot of people have slightly asymmetrical feet, but they still wear symmetrical size shoes.

If I had the option to get a pair of shoes that fit my actual feet instead of being symmetrical sizes, I’d pick that too. Luckily we can make that choice with phone cases.

I currently have 2 of the Presidio2 Grip cases, but I’m struggling with which one to keep (if either of them).

I’ve also got the DBrand Grip case coming, so that or one of these Speck cases will be my more rugged case (the Sheath is my daily driver).

Not sure what I’m going to do yet, but I love how easy Speck makes it to return cases by including the return label in the box.
