And I’m already looking for another case.

Trouble being I’m not sure what I’m looking for. I keep seeing cases that have one or two things I’m not overly fond of.

I wish Ringke did the onyx in a lighter blue. The ringke air s was lovely. Thin. Nice colour. Great fit but it started peeling in less than two weeks.

Love the look of the Apple silicone case in blue but sorry there’s not a hope in hell I’m paying £49 a TPU case.

Spigen thin fit looks good but not available in blue in the UK yet. I have the liquid air case which is nice but a bit thick.

I don’t know why it’s so hard to find a case I like

Just get the sheath

I’m currently using the Sheath in navy blue, but my favorite case so far has been the Spigen Thin Fit. Like you, I wished they’d make it in something other than black, so the moment I saw it was up for preorder on Spigen’s site, I ordered. That’s been about two weeks ago and it said it would ship in 30 days, so it shouldn’t be too much longer.

If you can preorder, I’d go ahead and do that.

How does the Thin Fit compare to the Sheath? I didn’t realize it came in other colors. My Sheath gets here today.

Out of all the cases I have this $15.99 case rules them all. It would be the perfect case if not for the fingerprint/smudge magnet the back is.

I had one for my iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max last year. I was very surprised that it was such a nice case for the money. Once I saw the pictures you posted of your 12 PM, I had to order it.

I wanted to pull the trigger on this case, and after reading your review, I thought I could live with the fingerprint/smudges (afterall, I'm used to early Pitaka and Evutec cases), but after seeing just how bad it looks in a YouTube video, I'm hesitant.

I went through this with the XS Max and the Sheath. I don't know why I can't just be happy with the Sheath. I tried a lot of cases for the XS Max, only to eventually go back to the Sheath in a day or two. The Sheath is such a good case, I don't know why I can't be content with it.

Sadly the thin fit isn’t available in any other colour but black in the UK yet.

Plus as of today spigen uk are on the **** list. Ordered some screen protectors. Pic clearly showed they had no cut out for the notch. Arrived with notch cut out. Emailed CS who refused a return and denied it was a different product, said the pic showed a notch when it clearly doesn’t. So opened a PayPal case, sent it back but Spigen say they’ve not received it and PayPal sided with them despite uploading proof (Christmas post, it didn’t arrive with them in PayPal’s timescale). So spigen have the item back and I’m out for the screen protectors and return postage.

This is the spigen UK site btw, not the US one.

Yeah, they have a couple other colors on Spigen’s website, but all of them are coming soon. Other than black, of course.

The Thin Fit and Sheath are pretty close to each other both in size, weight, and grippiness.

The buttons on the Thin Fit are better out of the box, but the buttons on the Sheath aren’t bad and definitely get better (read: more clicky) after just a day or two of use.

The only downside to the Thin Fit is it can be a bit of a fingerprint magnet on the back, but it cleans off really easily with a wipe from a microfiber cloth. The Sheath doesn’t show any fingerprints at all.

If I were forced to choose one over the other, I’d probably go Sheath because of a bigger color selection and no fingerprints on the back. But they’re my #1 and #2 cases of all the ones I’ve tried so far.

I should never have come to this forum. I haven’t even gotten my Sheath yet, and I’m already considering getting a Spigen Thin Fit and Cyrill Color Brick to compare.

Did you get clear or the one with the coloured bands?

One with coloured blue coloured bands I really like it and hold-ability feels great so far. I find grip inside the house v outside differs so ymmv but i'm digging it so far for £6.99 :)

I tried twice. On one, the buttons were trash, but the second one was better.

The other issue, which was far more pressing for me, the tpu around the entire phone is flimsy. In fact, there isn't an area where it is firm.

That sucks. Well I already got a shipping confirmation lol. It if sucks, will go back. @Hooterville

If this case blows then I am out of ideas for a more rugged type case. At the moment only thing I have is the Apple leather. Just mailed out the Pelican tank case this am for a refund.

I currently have 2 of the Presidio2 Grip cases, but I’m struggling with which one to keep (if either of them).

I’ve also got the DBrand Grip case coming, so that or one of these Speck cases will be my more rugged case (the Sheath is my daily driver).

Not sure what I’m going to do yet, but I love how easy Speck makes it to return cases by including the return label in the box.

Apparently Spigen has it’s own MagSafe charger coming now, but LOL at charging $50 for it.

I actually just returned the case back to amazon. Majorly disappointing.

Yeah. can't say I'm happy about it. I get sometimes mistakes happen, but there's no excuse for ****** customer service, and stealing is despicable.

Why are people so concerned about symmetrical cutouts? I know the speaker / mic holes are not symmetrical on the iPhone, but typically, symmetrical things look better, so don't symmetrical cutouts on a case in a way help to fix the iPhone's lack of visual symmetry? Personally, I could go either way.
