So, the one I just ordered will be the old gimped model?
Here are some pics of my Dbrand Grip case. I ordered it early in November and got it just before Thanksgiving. Haven’t changed it out since getting it. No sags, no issues around the buttons. All are responsive (so if there is a new version, I am not seeing the same issues). It has grip but not a lint magnet. I like the buttons though wish they were solid instead of the cuts in them. To me, it’s not bulky compared to some others I have had in the past (Tough Armour, Lifeproof, etc).
I don’t remember seeing the drop protection on this and what is can handle, but it feels as good as the Mous and others. I am using an ESR screen protector on my 12PM

But I have had this one since Thanksgiving, so it could be fine... Mine has had none of the issues that @chillip posted
True. That’s good to know. And I’ve had multiple dbrand grip cases over the years and never run into any issues, so I don’t know why I’m worried.

From the pictures it looks like it’s the same material as the regular Defender, if that is the case then it’s awesome. I like the rubbery, grippy Defender material as opposed to the hard plastic on the symmetry and commuter
It's not. It's the Otterbox Pursuit renamed.
Are you sure? The description on their product page says “Synthetic rubber slipcover”
The images seem to look just like the pursuit. Interestingly, their site shows a regular defender XT & a defender pro xt model

Mag Armor. Much firmer than typical spigen TPU case. Still looser over the buttons than I’d like. Also, over the charging port, which is far too loose for me.

The price is $14, the cost is ???, so they're paying at most $6 per positive review. But if case cost is, say, $3/unit they're making a profit purchasing the 96% 5***** reviews it has. ?

Tight fitting case and the buttons are pretty hard to push, otherwise a decent case. Glad I only paid $29.00 for it.
