Yep that’s what I remember reading, about the seams in particular. I agree, at that price point there shouldn’t be qc compromises. Any thoughts on the new magsafe compatible symmetry+?
I never tried it, I like the design of the Aneu more. That crevice along the sides seems like it’d be hard to clean if it got dirty.

Otterbox Aneu in today and I can't decide if I like this thing or not. Right out of the box it has the Mous Banana Boat Bend and a little saggy bottom. The back is like a finer grit Symmetry texture. The rubber sides are pretty soft and extra gummy. Getting the phone into the case is kind of hard because of this gummy rubber. You have to fondle and finesse the rubber around the edges of the screen. The buttons are completely flush with the sides of the case and pretty much suck. The case has a good feel and grip because of these "Bumper Car" rubber edges. I do not find the rubber loose around the edges except for a slight sag over the charge port.
IMO, I would not rush out and purchase one of these. (Should have listened to AE14)

Darn you, are you gonna make me rethink this now?😉

How do you find the tpu around the entire phone? Mine was easy to pull away
The one I got is pretty firm. Sure, you can pull it out if trying, under normal use it's just fine. My saggy bottom has the most give, sides and top are just fine. The buttons are not the best either but I can live with them.

I believe the gummy sides would protect the phone just fine if dropped.

Only Apple and Otterbox.

Order from Apple and return the worst one?
This is what I was thinking. Tried to make an exchange on the Otterbox site and they want me to ship the case back for a refund and charge me $5.00 for the shipping. I shouldn't have to pay $5.00 to return a defective case.

I would like to get another one and compare the two.

Vader has one coming so I'll wait and see how his turns out before ordering another one.

Yeah that sucks man. I didn’t think they were going to charge you for return shipping. Pretty crappy on their part.

Yes for sure

It’s easier than all my cases tbh
Wow surprised otterbox would design it that way. Perhaps it’s defective or part of a first-run batch.

Yeah the inconsistent feedback on this case makes me think they’ve refined their manufacturing process. So are you enjoying and keeping your aneu?

Yes, I'm going to keep it but would like one without a saggy bottom.

I like the Aneu so much I'm tempted to order the sand color so I can swap the green buttons into the black one
Don't know if the green buttons are worth $49.00 though

Agree, if you pull at the sides sure, but the sheath is the same and symmetry, mine has never come lose in usage, wonder why your buttons are not good?
