How big is the cut out for the silencer switch? Thinking of going for one of these...
Quite a bit of padding around the switch, as well as the lightning port.

The third photo along in that link shows the phone in the leather case and says 'Wireless Charging Ready'
Haha of course, I scour the page for something indicating that and it was right in front of me in the pics... I agree, they look great. I am going to pick one up and some screen protectors...free returns so not an issue :)

Bought a clear with glitter Otterbox Symmetry. Really tough to get on my Pro and disappointed once it was in there. Thought the lip around the camera cutout was barely high enough to protect the lenses and thought the lip around the screen was nit that high if you put it face down. I was coming from a Speck presidio which had a deeper well and lip. Switched it out for a fun printed Casely case I bought on a whim and that seems to be much better protected with deeper edges and still have room for a screen protector if i want.

I’ll be getting a leather case when they come out in Nov. In the meantime, I got this inexpensive Faux-leather case from amazon. Basically similar to the cheap TPU cases found everywhere, but with the fake leather back. For around $10, it will do for a few weeks until the leather cases come out.

Ive been using the Salwat case since I got the phone on launch day, and its a pretty decent case, aside from the fact that it is fake leather. Slim, looks decent, inexpensive. I want a good leather one eventually, hopefully the apple one is good.

Thanks for this! I’ve used leather cases for years now as I find they offer the right balance of comfort to hold, grip, protection and they look relatively smart (I even like the way they age).

Those ESR leather cases are the first ones I’ve seen which I’d consider buying instead of the official Apple cases. Significantly cheaper too! My only hesitation is that I just don’t know how useful the MagSafe feature is going to prove to be over standard wireless charging. The only really added value I can see at the moment would be as a flexible nightstand charger which I can reposition on my bedside cabinet, attaching only via the magnets.

I also love the lens protectors which ESR sell and will be installing one as soon as I get my new iPhone.
Those sides look thick

I returned my Aneu. Didn’t really like it much :(
You didn't like the look or the way it fitted or the way it felt, not enough grip? I'm thinking of returning my Apple Silicone. It makes the phone and case heavy, probably because of the magnets in the case and in the phone. The case is partially held together with the phone using magnets and it's not as secure as before, but it's also much easier to take apart. Maybe I'll go naked for a while and see how that goes. This year's version of Apple's Silicone isn't adding much extra grip.

Received this today and it's better than another one I tried, which was Tanden. ANLCQC buttons work well (not so on the Tanden) and it keeps the phone from flying off the nightstand. This will be the one at least for now.

Cool. Glad you like it. I think it’s a good case also. Minimal, nice grip to it. Good all around choicd

What’s everyone’s experience with Rhinoshield?
I really like the RhinoShield SolidSuit for the 12 Pro--they have improved the texture on the sides of the case, making it a bit less slippery, and that, combined with the squared off edges of the phone case make it more secure in the hand. It is also easier to install and remove from your phone. The ModNX seems to fit better on the squarer phone design as well.

Thanks for the detailed review! Will be getting one for my 12 Pro Max

Would love to see real consumer pics. Dont know who in their design team came with an idea to put ' Drop Guard Protection' on camera surround lol.
Hoping mine will arrive today and I can post some pictures. If the Apple silicone cases are anything to go by I think we can expect some form of camera protection on the Apple leather cases this year. Certainly the images we have seen seem to suggest this too.

Sides don’t look anything thicker than any other leather case?

Thanks! I think they are very nice cases. I'll be updating my review soon once RhinoShield sends me SolidSuits and ModNX in more colors and materials, so stay tuned 😀

there are some pictures in the Amazon reviews... Not HQ, but it seems like there is no imprint around the camera. However there seems to be some text on the side of the case...?

Got it, I'll upload some pics later.

Fit is great, the metal buttons are nice and clicky. There is a thin protection ring around the camera but I think this suits it. The case is slimmer than the Mujjo that was on it, which is now being returned to Amazon and the bottom is covered which is nice.

The leather feels nice; not quite the same quality as Apple's but certainly not £30-40 worse if that makes sense? Hard to tell if it is genuine leather as advertised or if it's PU; time will tell I suppose as I see it wear.

At the moment, I fell like the Apple leather cases are going to be around £60-70 so don't think I will get one this time. We will see though

Can anyone who purchased the Nomad Rugged case confirm if the buttons are easier to press than previous models? Thanks in advance.
Yes I have them and they do seem to be a little easier to press because I was not impressed with the previous designs. One thing that still annoys me about the case is that they still have the long speaker grill on the short side on the bottom of the case. That bothers me so much and idk why lol.

Thank you for confirming. Appreciate it and I can totally relate why that bothers you. Love your YouTube channel!

Would you still recommend the Mod or just go for the Solid suit?

I hope the cases for the iPhone are better than the Note 20 Ultra because I wasn't impressed with the redesign. They made them a little easier to get on and off but I feel that led to a little play on the sides of the case. I hope the tolerances are a little tighter on the iPhone series because the reason I always like the SolidSuit is because of how tight the case was on the phone.

Here you go. Navy Blue ESR Metro leather case. Quite a dimly lit room so the Navy looks very dark
