Yeah very monolithic. Another vote for the Galaxy.
Not bad. It’s in my once a week rotation. That knob I love to fiddle with. Case fits phone pretty tight; I’m not going to find out but I’d suspect it would do okay in a drop or 3.

How is the grip and the buttons? Some reviews say the buttons are hard to push with the case.
I can’t get a good picture of the case without the phone it in to show the defect. Still waiting on Nomad’s response. Strange they’re taking this long to respond. They usually get back to me within a few hours. I think I’m just going to initiate a return and continue to use my rustic brown Nomad.

this came today and i love it! the magsafe is on the strong size, buttons are great and clicky, asymmetrical cut outs, decent camera protection. it’s a little bit slippery but overall i’m impressed. a way better alternative to Apple’s clear case.

My buttons is fine? Little micro grip things on side are good as good as you’d expect I think.

I’ve got the same setup. 12 Pro Max, S21 Ultra, and also a Pixel 4a 5G.
I posted on here somewhere that I preferred the feel of the Apple leather case on my 12 Pro, but I've changed my mind. The silicone feels nicer somehow.
What prompted me to switch cases was I'm exercising outside more, and don't want the worry of getting the leather case wet.

Same thing happened to me. I enjoyed how the leather feels, but the silicone started to grow on me. Using the Silver 12 PM with the Apple deep navy case. I can’t get myself to use the leather anymore. Feels great in the hand. Yeah it collects some lint, but the feel of the case is so worth it.

SO agree with this. I’ve got several other cases but keep going back to the silicone and it’s been my daily case now. I haven’t switched cases in awhile.
Heh... I beat the crap out of my Nomad cases. Shipped my natural off today for the black version. Hopefully it’ll get here soon. I’m thinking it’s gonna take a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I’m still using the brown Nomad.
