Heh... I beat the crap out of my Nomad cases. Shipped my natural off today for the black version. Hopefully it’ll get here soon. I’m thinking it’s gonna take a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I’m still using the brown Nomad.
Yeah same, probably why i like the black it marks/scratches but not as noticeable as the brown. I was gardening in the rain yesterday and had it in my pack pocket, didn't worry it at all getting a bit wet. The PVC sides are tough too.
Wouldn't of done that with Apples leather case lol.

And since it's snowing outside sideways, I popped my silver 12 PM into the black apple leather case for the heck of it.

Same thing happened to me. I enjoyed how the leather feels, but the silicone started to grow on me. Using the Silver 12 PM with the Apple deep navy case. I can’t get myself to use the leather anymore. Feels great in the hand. Yeah it collects some lint, but the feel of the case is so worth it.
I posted on here somewhere that I preferred the feel of the Apple leather case on my 12 Pro, but I've changed my mind. The silicone feels nicer somehow.

What prompted me to switch cases was I'm exercising outside more, and don't want the worry of getting the leather case wet.
I went no case->silicone->leather->no case
Caseless feels best. Easiest to clean.

When using my Torro sleeve I’m so paranoid that I think I subconsciously make my phone more drop prone; if that makes sense. When using the Nomad case I could care less about the phone, but when going caseless I treat it like a newborn. I know the 12’s are a lot more durable from phones of the past. You’re right though, caseless does really show off the beauty of the phone and the overall feel.

So I got the Phone Rebel Crystal today for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Random first impressions in no particular order.

- It fits really well on the phone - nice tight fit. I haven’t tried taking the case off yet to see how hard it is.
- The sides and the the top are flat to make swiping easier, which is great.
- It’s hard to judge grip since the grip on the dbrand is insane. Going from that to this is interesting because the sides on this case are pretty smooth compared to the grainy sand texture on the Grip. So initially it seems kinda slick but I wanna try it out for a while to see.
- This is a pretty nice clear case. The corners are raised on the back and the front to keep the camera from touching or the screen on the front.
- He’s upgraded his packaging! Presentation is nice and high quality. I didn’t install the included Flolab screen protector.
- Depending on how greasy the back gets I might return for the Rebel case, or if he comes out with the open sides.
- I like how the case isn’t that thick. It doesn’t add much to the phone which is great since the phone is already big.

I’ll probably keep using the Grip since I’m addicted to the... grip... now. That’s always been my struggle with cases in general since my hands are typically dry. But this is a great clear option. My wife has been picky with cases but she likes this one so I ordered her one.

Any questions lemme know.

The new mous clear magsafe case looks good with the different coloured rings, better than apples white only.
Pricey though.

You realise some people have to use a case right? bricklayer, carpenter, plumber, etc, and on and on it goes, see how your naked phone goes in one of those jobs.
The person already uses a sleeve, which is used caseless.

yes phone gets scuffed up that’s it. get it replaced or express whenever.

I have received the Mous Limitless 4.0

I went for the walnut and I like it very nice case so far.

I had the 3.0 carbon fibre for the 11 pro max which I wasn’t a fan of.

the differences aren’t massive but it’s definitely thinner than it used to be, although they have gotten rid of the micro fibre interior and the little storage slots which is fine by me I never used them anyway.
For those that care the cutouts are still symmetrical but the tolerances on the case seem better the back plate sits flush with the plastic case there’s no ridge like there used to be and most importantly mine came in the non banana form factor
Buttons are very nice as usual but I wish they would go for the rhino shield style of buttons instead I prefer the individual buttons
Is the case a dust magnet? Did you find that dust gets easily into the small cut outs in between the volume buttons? Does the case appear to protect against dust/scratches as opposed to just shock and drops? Also, is it still difficult taking the case on and off? Thanks in advance.

How does it compare to the Grip case as far as comfort and ergonomics? In pictures it seems like the bottom lip on the Phone Rebel case is better for swiping up, and the cutouts look more comfortable for the pinky.

I‘d like to permanently settle with either a Grip case or a Phone Rebel, though the supposed weak magnets in the Grip are concerning.

Be worry free in that “case “
$30 for a screen, $100 for a new phone.
can’t beat that
You only get 2, I was bought up in life to look after things you work hard for and lucky enough to own, whatever floats your boat though.
I am all for a case for drop protection, scratches/ marks on the phone I don’t care, unless it’s on the screen.

Yea it is pricey. Was talking a look at it but couldn’t pull the trigger. Maybe when it’s on sale.

I like that I can swipe from the bottom comfortably on the Phone Rebel, since it has the lowered lip there that the Grip doesn’t have. Most cases don’t have that so you kind of get used to it, but when you get one that does it spoils you.

The pinky is comfortable, however I feel like I notice my pinky supporting more vs. with the Grip since maybe with the grip the other fingers were also holding on. However since the back is clear there’s grip there, whereas that’s pretty slick on the Grip (I haven’t put the back skin on yet). Since the back is clear it’s a little tacky and it’s easier to adjust how I’m holding the phone. I can pivot the phone using my index finger from tapping the top to the bottom. Dunno if that makes sense.

So it’s a tough choice. They’re both great cases. After having the Ringke Onyx and then the Grip which both have that grainier texture, I’m more inclined towards the Grip since it seems to help with the in hand grip. I typically settle on one case but I have no idea what I’m gonna do this time. I might just keep both.

Thanks for the pictures and review. :) I'm going to order the Rebel when it's available.

Is the clear back a fingerprint magnet? I know the carbon fiber of the Rebel will be.

Just picked up the OB Lumen to try.

It is basically the Aneu with a clear back. Not typically a clear back fan- but it seems relatively grippy and the side tpu is grippy as heck.
