That is quite the gap. I wouldn’t be happy. I can’t quite follow what case this was.
It’s like it’s not on the phone properly and has folded over itself.
Just got this in the mail. Best wallet case I've seen. My previous favorite was the Bellroy 3 Card Case.
I must say I’ve been pleased with the onyx too. For the price you really can’t go wrong. In fact when I bought the case Amazon were doing a 40% off deal which made it £4.99 or something silly. I just missed out!
Can anyone recommend a case that has curved edges?
I found my Spigen Ultra Hybrid for my old 11 Pro and it felt lovely in hand. I rarely use my Ultra Hybrid for my 12 Pro as I find it a bit uncomfortable.

Same with mine. Maybe we both got defective cases since all of them are made to show that at the top.

Maybe you two got the "special edition" cases that were manufactured different than all the rest? Guess your aramid fiber doesn't show fingerprints either?
Well…that was short…the case is a no go for me. Returned it. Too wide. Materials not up to standard for a $70 case.
@Hooterville - I am not saying you don’t have a gap. I can clearly see it in your photos. I will take a photo of mine in the morning and show mine. The aramid fiber definitely shows the fingerprints as well as the MagSafe ring after in a charger for a while.I'm old and blind and can see that gap at the top

I think we’re talking about slightly different things.
Hooterville - the top of the phone is made to be flat for swiping. I don’t think anyone is arguing that. But the gap at the top I think is a QC issue. My case and eyespy don’t have that gap, and neither does my wife’s case. But yours and someone else’s does.
After one week with the Dbrand Grip, there’s some pretty noticeable discoloration on the pastel skin, so I’ll probably be taking that off and using the bare case. The case itself has been great though. Love the feeling in hand, and the material is nice and rigid. I don’t think I can go back to a case that doesn’t have flattened edges for swiping.

Wow that stinks that it discolored already. Was the finish matte or glossy? Not sure if that even makes a difference.
I've been using the Pitaka Air case on and off on my 12 Pro since I got it. I keep going between that case and no case. I love the feel and look of that phone without the case. My Nomad case for the Pro will be here Monday, so I may end up switching to it when it gets here. I love that case on my PM.
It’s a matte finish. I wanted to get away from always having black cases, but if I’d known this was gonna happen, I’d at least have gotten a dark color instead. Not a big deal though, I wanted the case itself, I never cared about the skins.
Hooterville, how are your buttons on the Influence? Do you have an issue with the volume button by any chance? I didn't want to exchange mine, but the top volume button lacks the tactile feel of the bottom volume and power button. Let me know. Thanks.
Yes, but is one more tactile from the other. I can barely hear the top volume button click. Everything else clicks as well as tech21 cases.
I'd love to go "naked" but saw a YouTube video of one that had scratches all over. How are you finding it? Do you take it outside? I use mine without a case at home sometimes.
