I'd love to go "naked" but saw a YouTube video of one that had scratches all over. How are you finding it? Do you take it outside? I use mine without a case at home sometimes.
I like the idea of a scratched up/weathered device. There’s an old OG iPhone photo I have somewhere to illustrate what I mean.

Edit: found it!

You can make it magsafe by getting rings. I bought ring stickers on amazon to put on the back of the case by a brand named wynk and the phone would not fall off the magsafe charger if I shook it around and swung it. . Works well. Going to test this out on a magsafe wallet in the future. I checked this out on a catalyst. It is hard to remove like all metal plates, but just use a small credit card and should come off. Any case can be magsafe now, just as long as you are fine with the aesthetics of the ring on the back of any case.

If you plan to use it naked you have to accept small scratches and similar. My previous XS, used naked most of the time, had some micro scratches on the back that were visible only in some angle of light. My mini is white and that’s a better colour to hide scratches than space gray, in my opinion. Anyway, nothing visible after two months of everyday use (85-90% naked: sometimes I put red product silicone case on because I like red colour).

For those that are interested in a blue case to go along with your pacific blue pro/pro max, I just received the new pacific blue influence from Catalyst. It's literally the same color as the phone. It looks awesome! There's also a new small cutout to help with speakers. Some complained about the the 2020 Influences causing issues on speakerphone. I had the stealth black before, and I prefer this for the pacific blue. Also, the buttons are working perfectly and are as tactile as the Tech21 Evo cases.

Yea I was wanting to order that case but as concerned with the grip on the sides when compared to the vibe. I ended up going with the Vibe and love it.

Grip is great on the influence. They use a microscopic grip. Its not really visible, but it's there. The vibe also now comes in blue. Its not the pacific blue color but it will compliment the pacific blue chassis nicely. The vibe is great. The main reason I didn't get the Vibe is because I prefer the hard rubber tpu in the Influence and the hard back for falls. Both have good protection. Catalyst is a great brand. Still haven't taken advantage of the crux system, I plan to tie a peak design anchor to use for peak design accessories.

Update: Anyone with the Influence/Catalyst try the stick on wallet? I am interested in the wallet, but the only problem is that I use the magsafe charger.

I picked up the catalyst vibe case. I started off with the army green because they didn't have the Bondi blue on amazon. It was finally in stock last week so I sent back the army green. I do notice on the blue vibe case that the volume buttons are easier to press than the army green. Also, there is one tiny little hole near the right speaker, which was missing on the army green. Not sure the purpose.

Had the same button issue with the influence. Must be the new design. They made some subtle changes like the new speaker hole for the right speaker, which Catalyst changed due to complaints regarding speakerphone. Top volume was awful with the stealth black(2020) but pacific blue works almost flawlessly. The bondi vibe looks great.

Could you take a pic of your vibe case. Specifically the holes at the bottom.

Here you go.. These are not the clearest pics and the lighting is a bit poor, but this give you a good idea. The hole is pretty obvious in one of the pics. So for anyone curious about any of the catalyst cases(Vibe, Influence, Protection), its the same hole. I was told it was simply added to the new 2021 cases to rectify any issues some were having with their speakerphone. As you can see it's below the right speaker. Like I said before, I prefer it over the Stealth Black Influence. It really compliments the pacific blue pro very well. The buttons are now great. I obviously would prefer to be without that hole below the right speaker, though it doesn't even compare to the unnecessary large cutouts on some cases mentioned on this thread. This is now my daily driver.

I’ve had the apple clear case for almost two weeks and I’m pleasantly surprised.

It traps little to no dust around the edges and inside the case (unlike the air jacket where you can see dust and dog hair on the inside between the case and phone after half a day).

The buttons have become easier to press, it’s less slippery than when it’s newand its showing little to no scratches at all.

Will definitely be keeping this.

My influence case for the 12PM does not have that hole on the bottom. Is this only on the smaller 12's?

It's on all the 2021 catalyst cases. The stealth black and clear cases are part of the 2020 line. I emailed them and spoke to them on the phone. They changed it because they wanted to fix some sound issues some were complaining about. I saw some amazon reviews that claimed the speakerphone was off. I never had this issue with the stealth black. I personally prefer without it, but it doesn't bother me. It's very deep, and even more protective than any of the apple cases.

I returned mine after having it for 2 days. I love the concept, the buttons were a deal breaker. Back to caseless.
