Otterbox have a great offer on here in the UK. £14.99. Picture doesn’t look right but it says for the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Deal: OtterBox Symmetry Series, Sleek Protection for Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max - Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08D6X3TW5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_8EQBE13WZKEQ0D61QPXB
I got the Symmetry magsafe for my new 12 pro max today, all i could find locally except for a Apple black silicone or SB leather. Had the Symmetry for my 11 pro and real liked it, i tried one for my 12 last year but didn't like it the same.
This one feels good bit more grip on the back, needed magsafe and something for work today so no choice lol.
Cheap phone booth GSP too.
Buttons are great, not too big a lip similar to apples leather, like how it wraps around the front no SS edge showing.
Goes on and off easy enough once you figure out which way is easiest, least it won't fall off in a drop.

I’ve had the apple clear case for almost two weeks and I’m pleasantly surprised.

It traps little to no dust around the edges and inside the case (unlike the air jacket where you can see dust and dog hair on the inside between the case and phone after half a day).

The buttons have become easier to press, it’s less slippery than when it’s newand its showing little to no scratches at all.

Will definitely be keeping this.
What about smudges? Guess you get no white ring from charging on the back or it wouldn’t show? Do you just feel the phone on the bottom holding it or case too?
Is it lighter than the leather cases? Sorry for so many questions might get one tomorrow from JB, can’t return it once opened.

It’s great, much thinner than the L3
They also removed the SIM holder that used to be there inside.
Glad to hear. Definitely update us a week-month into the life of the case. I'm curious about how that internal lining handles scratches, as some have complained about the lack of microfiber lining despite Mous calling this their thinnest Limitless yet.

Got the Otterbox this afternoon and am pleasantly surprised how good it is. The buttons on par with the Apple Leather case which surprised me (this is a must for me and always return any cases that have stiff or mushy buttons). All in all the Otterbox is a good strong case and for the price I paid it's well with it.

how you get that skin?

We have a pile of vinyl lying around! Multiple colors too! So we just stuck it on and ran a blade around the maple carefully to cut it in. We have it on everywhere!

Notice how the Aramid case gets smudgy? This was just after a few hours of use

Was thinking a black one, lint get any better over time? they are a bit heavier than the leather?

bit heavier yeah. And with the smudges and shinyness added to the edges over time it’s less of a lint magnet

trying to use my blue silicone as the beat up one and keep green silicone comparatively in better shape but we’ll see

Clear cases always show smudges. It’s quite easily wiped off with a cleaning cloth for glasses or the back of your tshirt.
No charging ring to speak off considering the back is a massive white ring lol
The exposed bottom doesn’t bother me. It’s actually nice to feel the naked phone once in a while.
And no it’s not lighter than the leather case. It’s heavier and bulkier.
If you’re not sure, probably just get it from Apple to try out and if you like it return it and get it from JB after trying?

Was using the Dbrand Grip case for a few weeks which I liked however I felt that it wasn’t as protective as I like (I am rough on my phones) and as grippy as the sides are, the back is not, so I went to my old reliable and got an Otterbox Defender. To me it’s the best case all around and this years version is not as chunky as the past. It’s really not much bigger than the grip yet it’s more protective and grippy. I got it on sale in Best Buy so didn’t pay full price plus it works with my Qi wireless charger.

Dropping by this thread to say I’m still using the grey Caudabe Synthesis on my graphite iPhone 12 Pro and haven’t even had the urge to switch it out. Also haven’t purchased any other cases since I first put this case on my phone
The Sheath is like that. Only other case I'm possibly buying going forward is the Synthesis when Caudabe releases it for the 12 Pro Max with MagSafe.

I'm done other than that.

I wound up purchasing the Totallee Clear (Soft) case. I haven't see a lot of talk of that case on here. I noticed they had a limited edition leather option for $55. Has anyone tried it? I had one for the XS Max, which I didn't mind except the buttons weren't covered. The one for the 12 Pro Max has the buttons covered now, but I'm wondering how tactile they are.
I received my Totallee leather case today. I only purchased because they had a code and it ended up being 22$ so I figured I’d give it a try. The buttons are very hard to press but besides that it’s not bad. Comfy on the pinky and more grippy than I expected. I’ll report back after a week about the buttons. If they’re not better I’ll hit them with a razor.

Can someone recommend plum color magsafe compatible case for 12 max pro? I am reading so many complaints about apple silicon cases gathering lint and smudges? Is that bad?

No. I have two and yes it does collect lint but you wipe it off and you’re done. Same thing with smudges. I’d take lint on my case any day over a case that feels like a bar of soap. The apple silicone is the one for me right now. I have several other cases but have not even touched them.
