Yes, the Sheath looks like everything I would want from a TPU case... Slim, grippy, fully closed, tactile buttons etc... There are some good reviews on YouTube for the iPhone 11 version and some first impressions for the 12 Version...

Only issues they mentioned on the reviews:
- Not a lot of drop protection
- Lids are only minimally raised above the screen, especially when using a glass screen protector
- the grippy texture wears over time, especially at the edges...

However, it is not available here in Germany and with shipping from UK it would be over 40€, which is a bit pricey for a TPU case. That‘s why I have bought the ESR Leather case and am liking it so far...
They’ve gone up $10AUD from the 11 here, $40 now. Still half the price of Apple silicone.

I think with the shape of this year’s phones, open bottom cases are really uncomfortable to hold. They really dig in to my little finger.
I thought I was the only one who had this problem, but it was mainly on this year’s case. Thank you. I returned my silicone as a result of that. had no issue with the open bottom on last year and previous gens.

I’m intrigued. I like TPU cases but some are either too thick or are slippery as heck. I am probably going to try the Sheath then since it’s got nothing but good reviews. It’s $28 here in the states, almost half the price of apple silicone.

After trying the Evutec and returning, I picked up a Cyrill black leather case. Fitment is very good, no issues. Its not bulky which I like. The leather on the back is smooth. I used apple leather cases before and this is not as grippy. I'm good with this case until apple releases their leather.

Following the review by @kgenova I ordered the rhinoshield solid suit for my 12 - replacing the Mous case which doesn’t have the correct cut outs.

Really pleased with the rhino shield, more grip on the back than the Mous. The raised edges aren’t too protruding but definitely still leaves you feeling comfortable lying the phone face down. I’d recommend!

Doesn’t the RhinoShield have the symmetric cutouts as well?

Yes - but it’s not really an issue for me.
My problem with the Mous case was the silencer switch cut out was to small/deep for me to access.
The Rhino Sheild cut out doesn’t have this issue

How are the buttons on the Rhinoshield? Tactile?

I just picked up a Spigen clear case from Amazon. This is pictured next to my Pixel 4xl case.

I also bought this one on Etsy.

How do you like the Spigen? I bought one but it’s covered with just-sharp-enough edges, nicks, and seams that the already-big phone is annoying and uncomfortable to hold.

I’ll be waiting for a case that:
- is mag-safe compatible
- has loop/handle that doesn’t need to be taken off to charge
- lip extends above screen
- silicon idealy

This is the one I bought. I haven’t felt any sharp edges on mine. It’s great and doesn’t add any bulk like many hybrid two part cases do.

Spigen Ultra Hybrid Designed for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BHCY8CN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have the Ultra Hybrid in Matt Black. The fit was awful...with the sides bulging out. They gave me a choice of replacing it saying "maybe it will fit better" or getting my money back. I love the case so asked to have it replaced. Not 100 % hopeful but I am interested how the fit is for others. I guess it's possible I just got a lemon.

. Took some pictures next to an iPhone 5 for size comparison purposes. Still may buy a leather case though. Looking at Apple, Bullstrap, or Nomad.
