Does anyone use camera lens protector/ring?

I have the Ultra Hybrid in Matt Black. The fit was awful...with the sides bulging out. They gave me a choice of replacing it saying "maybe it will fit better" or getting my money back. I love the case so asked to have it replaced. Not 100 % hopeful but I am interested how the fit is for others. I guess it's possible I just got a lemon.
I just received my Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear case. It's awesome. Fits perfect has great grip and is super slim. Looks like you just got a lemon. Hope the replacement is better for you!

Personally, I was not a fan of the Spigen ThinFit... At first I liked the look and feel, but the back was a fingerprint magnet and the lids were of a different type of rubber (for whatever reason) and a lint-magnet...

So yeah, returned it...
Good point, I didn’t even notice the finger prints lol. The sides, yes I agree they changed their design to have some type of silicone/TPU side, but it’s very minimal impact, vs a full silicone case. Prefer finger prints over the full silicone case.

however I with you, I prefer their old minimal design. This will do until I get my apple leather case :)

Ringke Fusion Matte Clear, I got this for a family member but tested it on my iPhone and I love this matte/clear combination, definitely the way to go for clear cases by far, no fingerprints/scratches on the matte back. I'm returning the Spigen Ultra Hybrid.

After years of exclusively using the saddle leather case, I switched to the clear MagSafe case. I wasn't sure what I'd think of the visible MagSafe magnets, but I kind of like it. No regrets so far. 10/10

how do you like it? i used pitaka for my iphone X. im interested in buying it from aliexpress too haha so cheap. but the shipping is soooo slow.

Not used it yet but compared it with my Latercase and it’s virtually identical.
Also bought AirPods pro case from same seller and the quality is excellent.
Delivery to the UK was not that bad.
Ordered on the 19th October arrived 10days later.
Was worth it for the savings.

Rhinoshield Mod NX:
Pros: different color combos available for a custom look. The entire backside has a raised lip to protect the back glass and phone lies flat. Minimalist look.
cons: cheap looking and feeling plastic material. Not premium to match the iPhone 12pro. Was expecting it to be more of a grippy material. Bulkier than expected.

ESR Halo Navy Blue:
Pros: looks sharp. Minimalist appearance. Good color match. Slim bumper doesn’t add bulk.
Cons: I thought from the pictures the outside bumper part would be metal. (My bad for not reading the description close enough). Clear plastic back cover is a fingerprint magnet. Only a lip around the camera bump on the back. Also, the buttons are stiff and hard to press.

I also have a no-brand bumper coming from ebay to try out. Supposed to be an aluminum outer frame. And I want to try out the supcase bumper when they have blue back in stock.
I caved on the Supcase and ordered the red. So far it solves the cons of the other two. The metallic edge may be causing some signal degradation though. It’s gorgeous though. Buttons are great.

Caudabe sheath and ringke onyx ,ordered 2 of each .caudabe has been my go to for years but this year decided to try the onyx also and got to say it is great for the price.both have a sand like texture for grip .the onyx has the better buttons

I’ve ordered a brown Nomad 12 mini case. I was torn between it and Apple’s blue silicone case, but reports of the silicone case being a lint magnet decided me in favor of the Nomad.

Does anyone have these kind of clear cases on previous iPhone?

I am worried about those painted chrome/metallic edges that may tear off overtime?!

Thanks

I picked up a black Spigen Slim Armour CS wallet case in preparation for my graphite pro max.

I prefer good protection for such an expensive device, and I’d rather a slightly larger case than having to carry a seperate wallet. I have the same Spigen case on my Xr and have been very happy with it. It holds my drivers license and a credit card for when contactless payment isn’t available. 99% of the time that plus Apple Pay is all I need.
