Initial Impressions of cases I've used on my iPhone 12 Pro:

Speck Perfect Mist: it fits extremely well, buttons are somewhat hard to press. On the thicker side.
Speck Presidio2 Pro: it fits extremely well, buttons are great. Again, on the thicker side.

Spigen Liquid Crystal: the fit is great, buttons are better than the Speck Perfect Mist. However, sometimes when you start to press the side button down there is this 'pre-click' from the case, then you continue to press and the button actually clicks. Kind of strange.

Nomad Rugged (rustic brown): great fit, high quality leather, buttons are somewhat harder to press, but not a deal breaker for me. Adds bulk.

Totallee Clear (soft TPU): this one is strange. I bought this case for my wife's new iPhone 12 and it fits amazingly well. Totallee shows that it should fit both the 12 and 12 Pro the same. But when I put it on my 12 Pro, it doesn't fit as tight and the TPU squeaks near the button areas. Very thin though.

Apple Silicone Case (Black): the best fitting case (because Apple), not too bulky. Buttons are pretty good, but not as good as the Apple Leather cases. Lint seems to stick a lot to the silicone case.

If it came down to the Nomad and the Apple Silicone, which one would you go with?

I'd go with the Nomad. I like the look/feel of the leather over the silicone. But the buttons are slightly less responsive on the Nomad, a trade off I'm willing to accept. If you are particular about button tactility, the Apple Silicone may be better.
I found the Nomad buttons for this years case more to my liking over the silicone case from apple. They’re stiff, but not to bad considering last years model. I also feel my phone is a bit more protected using the Nomad over the silicone and it’s much lighter than the silicone since the case doesn’t house any additional magnets. 👍🏻

I’m happy to get confirmation for the way I was already leaning. I don’t really have any experience with the Apple silicone cases, and didn’t want to miss something. :)

Interested in the Totallee Clear as it looks like the ‘least visible’ case on the market. (Apparently the fit is guaranteed, for what that’s worth...)

Would you feel ok dropping your phone from waist height with that thing on?

I've got the blue iPhone 12 pro.

My Apple Silicone MagSafe case was delivered today - it's nicer than I was expecting (had the leather case for the 11 Pro last year). Just waiting for my MagSafe charger now, then I'm all set.

I know this case has not been popular, but for a MagSafe case from Apple, so far I like the Otterbox Anue. The Apple clear case was slippery and I didn’t like the back ring. The silicone was a lint magnet but good otherwise. The Anue has grippy sides, the buttons work well, and the blue goes well with the PB phone. Not the case of my dreams, but my favorite Magsafe case so far.

Returning the Navy silicone, too heavy and lint magnet, should of known. Guess the leather will be heavy too. Waiting on a Sheath tomorrow. Don't have the MagSafe charger so no point getting a case with magnets now.
Bought the 20w brick for $29AUD thanks apple lol.

Just a heads up for those interested in the Nomad Rugged Case in the Natural colorway, I used mine for a couple of days and then the rubberized trim started to turn highlighter yellow. I’m guessing there’s some component of the leather that is bleeding into the rubber causing some sort of reaction. I reached out to Nomad to see if this is a known issue.
Has Nomad replied to your inquiry? I’ve been using my natural case for a couple of days now and there’s no sign of yellowing. The leather is starting to darken just a bit where my hands naturally rest on the phone. I’m enjoying the case so far.

Cheap eBay bumper case, made by Mercury Goosprey.

£59 for the leather cases then?

View attachment 1099340
Mini £59 pro has to be more expensive and the max so £69 and £79
Check the link I have posted.

It doesn’t have to be at all.... the 11 pro and 11 Pro Max were the same prices. As were XS and XS Max. Etc

It's tradition for me to start with Apple for every new iPhone I buy and then move onto other brands whenever that one gets funky enough. So I'm starting with Apple's silcone case; I'm just having a hell of a time deciding between Deep Navy and Kumquat.

I’m after a very grippy case that’s a bit more substantial than the caudabe sheath.

I did

You know what? I received my Meifigno cases via Amazon yesterday and I tried the white case on it... wasn't thrilled with my old favorite case. I think I became accustomed to the ol' slippery slip n' slide clear case that anything else felt cheap (despite the amazing grip on the amazon cases). I may still go to the Apple store to check out the Kumquat silicon case but I dislike hearing what lint magnets they are. The clear MagSafe attracts lint at the borders but nowhere else, really. I actually like the white circle too but I'm in the minority on that one. The buttons still suck though.

I'll probably keep 1 of the 3 Meifigno cases I ordered but I haven't decided which... I haven't tried the clear Meifigno yet... but I wasn't happy with the white because it doesn't make the PB color POP like I thought it would so I'm thinking on returning the matte translucent matte black with blue border and possibly the white one.

I really wasn't expecting to feel that way towards my favorite past cases.. I think it just takes away from the phone's elegance... (?) - there was also a moment when I had the phone in the white case that I lost function on my phone. I could open apps but not "press" anything on them... I pulled at the side of the case on the right hand side and then it worked so the case itself must have interfered with the button/functionality of the phone. All in all I don't think I can return the Apple MS clear case anymore. That's of course until I drop the phone because it slipped from my hand! 😬
