I went ahead and bought a blue Solidsuit from Rhinoshield, a Crash Guard NX, and some extra buttons and stuff. Total order was like $45 with free shipping and no sales tax. I used a 20% off coupon. I haven't had the best luck with them ordering direct in the past but hopefully my luck changes

Well, the natural nomad rugged came in. Looks really strange with the white borders. It’s much lighter than the apple silicone case making the 12 a lot lighter to use. Feels similar to my se2. I’ll use this case for a while and see how it ages. It’s gonna age quickly I’m assuming since it’s not protected with waxes or dyes. It is slick to the touch and it smells delicious. Hopefully the slick/slippery feeling goes away with time.

I’m personally waiting to order the apple leather case. Mean time I initially ordered the ESR cloud series for my iPhone 12 pro.
I did not like this case at all. Simple clean design, but the silicone design was a crazy lint magnet. Little thicker then I liked, and also so hard to put into my pocket since the silicone was so sticky. Didn’t really gave the quality feel overall. Seemed really cheap.
mean time, I ended up ordering the spigen thinfit as I couldn’t stand the ESR cloud series. Got the thinfit today from Amazon, and wow love this case. Much thinner, and quality is superb. Has just amount grip on the side so feels solid when using. And the back is smoother so no issues with lint.
I highly recommend the spigen thinfit!!

Same design as all their cases. They’re still trash, but they’re not as bad as the 11 pro buttons. I’m thinking flat sides of the 12 make it easier to push in? No where near the stiffness of the 11 series buttons.

Apple leather will be heavy too with magnets, my 11 pro case was 19gms. might just get the black nomad. Only other case was looking at was the sheath but its $40 here.
The case alone is 35grams. The phone with the case on is 208 grams. Keep in mind, this scale has been through hell so it may be off a couple grams here and there. I’ve had it for about 7years to weigh my food.
Anyone know what weight The Sheath is?

I’m planning on getting an OtterBox with MagSafe for my 12 Pro Max. It still says “Coming soon“ on the Apple app. I usually don’t order cases directly from the app, so will it become available for purchase on the 6th?
I ordered the leather case from ESR from AliExpress, looks clean and says it’s genuine leather. Should be here in a week or so, will post a review when it arrives.
I just got this one today from Molzar.
TPU sides and a PU leather back.
AND it has a built in metal plate that works with my existing car mount.
I think this one is a keeper!
The fit is excellent. It’s nice and slim. Slimmer and better feeling than the Evutec. And the metal plate has a hole in the middle that still allows for Qi charging.
I have no idea if it’s MagSafe compatible but I don’t care. It does what I wanted.
The only strike against it are the speaker holes on the bottom. Instead of matching the 3/5 setup of the phone, the speaker holes are symmetrical. Some might care. I really don’t.

Usually don't really like branded things. But somehow this one seems pretty nice to me. Might get it for the Mini for the gym, because my X has fallen out of my pants before.

Personally, I was not a fan of the Spigen ThinFit... At first I liked the look and feel, but the back was a fingerprint magnet and the lids were of a different type of rubber (for whatever reason) and a lint-magnet...

Probably legit, I'd say... They are due to be released in 3 days, so it's not unlikely hat someone in China got their hands on it... Also, with the silicone models this year being fully closed t the bottom, as opposed to last year, it doesn't seem unlikely that the leather ones will follow the same trend...
I'm canceling my order with ESR. Was really looking forward to the Navy leather case and screen protector but it's been seven days and hasn't shipped. Said 1-3 days when I ordered and still says 1-3 days when I check on the status.
I'm really liking the Humixx Crystal Clear. I only expected it as a temp but it's growing on me. I give it a 3/5 in the looks category as the clear edges give it a...frugal look. If they made one with edges to match my phone, I wouldn't think twice.

Yea as I suspected the leather case looks too 'boxy' for my taste, such a shame, I loved the apple leather case on my iPhone 11, but I don't think it's going to be that good for 12, it's too brick-like.
