I used UAG Civilian on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra and absolutely loved it. Was thrilled to learn they had it for iPhone.

My dbrand Grip case came today and I can’t believe I put the 2 stickers on with no problems having Neuropathy in my hands. Case feels great and looks nice, I even put the sticker on the camera lens to complete the look which I wasn’t gonna do. Followed dbrands video and it was easy.

One of my favorite cases. I still need to get a different skin for it as I went with my old standard matte black when I ordered. Thinking of trying the black carbon fiber.

I’m sure that one will look great, I was just tired of carbon fiber as I have a few phone Cases with carbon fiber and the black swarm was just different. I do like the black dragon too.

I purchased the Ringke Air-S for my 12 Pro Max. Here are some thoughts:

- It's exactly the same size as the Caudabe Sheath.
- The entire outside of the case is the same material as the black Spigen Thin Fit, so if you're familiar with that feel, you'll know what I'm talking about. That also means that there aren't any fingerprints, but shows smudges, oil, and scratches pretty easily. But, that also means that it's pretty grippy.
- The inside of the case is interesting. It has a bunch of microdots and it almost feels like the grip strips from the dbrand Grip case.
- The buttons have release slits in them so that means they're very tactile but also dust traps.
- Speaking of dust traps, on either side of the case, there are (what I consider) giant holes for a lanyard.
- Each of the corners are raised while the left and right of the case is flush with the screen.
- The case wraps around and covers the stainless steel band except at the top above the speaker grill.
- The lip that runs across the left-hand side of the screen is sharp.
- The case passes the pinky test but barely. The material around the charging port cutout is soft enough.

Basically, this case is a smoother, ever so slightly heavier version of the Caudabe Sheath that gives dust more opportunities to get in.

I know I mention this often, but I still plan on purchasing the Tech21 Evo Check eventually. I don't know why I keep hesitating. I'll read 10 reviews. There will be nine glowing reviews, but one review will mention something about it hurting their pinky, and I'm scared to pull the trigger.

So if you had to choose, which would you pick?
That's a good question.

I think ultimately I would still recommend the Caudabe Sheath, and here's why:
While the Caudabe Sheath is rougher in my hands and it hurts my pinky when comparing it to the Ringke Air-S, the Air-S has more cons that don't make it worth it over the Sheath. (Although, the Air-S is a really inexpensive case, so "worth it" is relative.)

- The Sheath feels more rugged, so it can be handled more roughly. You can toss the case around without worrying about damaging or scratching the case. If you put your phone in your pocket with your keys or in your purse, the back of the Air-S is going to wind up looking ugly. The case is a soft touch matte material, so it will have scratch marks and the material will eventually peel. You can always adjust the way you hold the Sheath if it hurts your pinky, but the amount of stuff you have to adjust for the Air-S (storing it on its own, being gentle when setting it down, etc.) is greater.
- The lanyard holes on the side feel annoying. They're almost the size of the bottom smaller speaker grill cutout with a tiny piece of the material in the center that sticks out, so you always notice them.
- (This is personal preference) I prefer cases that have an even lip all around, which the Sheath has.
- I've had the case on my phone since 5:34pm. It is now 8:45pm. I didn't touch my phone for about half an hour during dinner. The back of the case has areas that are so shiny right now from my hands. You know how dbrand came out with an MKBHD icon skin, and when the phone is tilted, the icons shine? That's what the back on the Air-S looks like, except the shiny parts are finger-shaped.

I realize that some people don't care about cases getting scratched up (my first point) because at least it's not the phone, but I'm one of those guys that likes a pristine looking case, too. It bothers me when people have cases that are falling apart.

I hope that helps. I don't know if I did a good job of explaining the cons.

I’ve bought the Air-S twice, first time it started peeling after about two weeks. (thrown by your micro dots comment though as the Air -S has the micro fibre lining. The Air is clear with micro dots).

Returned it. Took another chance because I loved it and ordered a second last week. Within two days it started peeling in the corner and yellowing on the sides. Yellow doesn’t look nice on the lavender grey colour.

So don’t expect any kind of longevity from the case.

Such a shame because I love it.

Might order a thin fit if the material is the same. I can’t find the caudabe for sale in the UK and don’t fancy paying import charges for a case. So not been able to try any caudabe cases.

Caudabe....if you read these (I think you do!), Where's the magsafe case? It'll be time for iPhone 13 soon.

It’s been 3 months (3 MONTHS!!!) since their support told me “stay tuned…they’re coming VERY soon”.

I adore my Sheath cases, but I’m quickly losing patience with them basically lying about a MagSafe Synthesis being here for the 12 PM “very soon”.

If you’re having issues with the design, just say that! Don’t continue to string your loyal fan base along for months.

And the worst part (and anyone that’s attempted to order a new case design from Caudabe knows this)…when they do show up, they’ll be out of stock in about 30 minutes and it’ll take weeks for them to come back.

As you can tell, I’m not a happy camper when it comes to Caudabe right now.

Just wanted to give a thumbs up for Decoded customer service. I ordered their magsafe case for the 12PM way back on April 22. Still haven't received it and so I sent them an email yesterday. Less than a day later they returned my email and will be sending me a new case Express and free of charge. That's some really good service, other companies should learn from them!

The inside of my Air-S doesn't have any lining. Instead it's textured (micro dot) and rubbery. Maybe they changed the design.
In terms of the Spigen Thin Fit, I think you'll like it. The back of the case is the same material. However, halfway up the sides, it changes to a softer material. It feels great. My only complaint is that it adds some weight to the phone. I will say, I like the inside of the version of the Air-S I have more than the Thin Fit.

Are we talking about the same case?. My apologies it doesn't have the lining, I was mixing it up with the cyril TPU case.

I have mine in my hand now and can't see or feel any micro dots on the inside, just feels the same as the outside.
