I actually find the apple leather cases to be as grippy as the silicone cases after a few days using them. 🤔

Already got the baltic blue and black leather cases, plus deep navy silicone, tossing up whether to get the cloud blue silicone case now 🤦‍♂️😂🥺
Hmm, are the leather cases different at all for the 12’s? I got a leather case on sale when I had my X at Best Buy and it was the slipperiest thing ever. Used it for a month straight and still did not wear 🤔

My Grams28 case finally came in yesterday. I had it out of the box/sleeve for all of two minutes before it was back in and ready to be shipped back. The quality just couldn't compare to that of the Decoded case. The volume buttons were tiny, flat and all cockeyed and just like the Parkfield Supplies leather case I tried a couple of months back, they look like they were glued on. The smell also couldn't compare. Looks like Decoded is king this year.

They are definitely different (at least for the 12 Pro Max). I couldn't use any of the leather cases from the 6s Plus to the XS Max because, no matter what I tried, they were slippery (and stayed slippery). I even tried all of the tricks like sanding them, leaving them out in the sun, and using coconut oil. The leather case for the 12 Pro Max is actually grippier than the silicone case (at least mine is). Sometimes the leather case feels like it is melting, which adds to its grip. Some people might think it feels disgusting (I admit, I find myself looking at my fingers to see if there's any residue), but I don't mind.

Have just got the 12 Pro after using the X since launch. X was apple leather case for 2 years before that pretty much fell apart and then dabbled in a couple other cases (namely Spigen tough armour) before eventually ending up caseless.

Bought the leather case with the 12 Pro but sent that back, not sure if it was the subtle size increase or squared off edges but it just didn't feel good in the hand. Have ended up caseless but with a Rhinoshield solid suit in Clay for those times when I need to have a case.

Thanks! and I’m glad I’m not the only one who had an issue with the X/XS series leather cases. I may give the leather a try again one of these days if it’s grippy.

They‘re all the same, strange they normally get more grip after a few days of use. 🤔

I think i finally found the perfect combo! I got the twelvesouth surfacepad, with a Apple Genuine Leather case in Black and a dbrand skin for the back/camera. Perfect amount of protection and has room for 2 cards!

I'm sad to say my caudabe sheath isn't working out. It's such a good case but it's not compatible with my flolab SP. Top corner keeps getting pulled up on the flolab 😕
I'll probably post it for sale since I bought it used, it's a really nice minimal case if anybody is on the fence about getting one.

I also tried and will return the synthesis. It's also a good case but there are others I have that I like better so I can't see myself using this much.

I’ve had a few Apple Silicone cases for my phone but the new Electric Orange is definitely my new favorite! In some photos posted it looks more muted/softer in color (even more pink?), but in person it’s pretty vibrant. It’s more on the reddish side and can look more orange in different lighting, but the color still pops.

I’ve always wanted a case this color and was hesitant in getting it because I wasn’t sure what it’d look like. Even the Apple store I went to, they didn’t have it on display (the employee helping me didn’t even know they had this color in the back until he checked for availability). But when I opened the box in my car the color really popped! Seriously in love with this color.

Such a great color! I love the corals and orangey-reds! And this color is so saturated.

(Apple never has “all” the colors but the colors they select for cases and bands are always distinctive and diverse. Their color team is very good.)

......I had one of these on my iPhone XS and it was awsome - very minimal whilst at the same time protecting the phone and allowing you to carry a couple of cards.

The only reason I haven't bought one this year for my iPhone 12 is purely because they have not released a blue version and have only decided to release black, brown and plum??!

....this is why I don't really like the silicone cases - purely because of the fingerprint smudges, dirt and grime they collect :

That case had been in storage cupboard / tool box for a week since it got damaged. Plus that case belongs to my partner and she is one of them who just use the device as it is worry free lol. But im totally opposite. OCD freak

Sunflower is quite gorgeous! Electric Orange is pretty nice too. Love how vibrant it is. And that is pretty awesome, the silicone is pretty durable. Dropped my Deep Navy and only have a small dent in the corner.
Yes they are too bright for my liking. I think im going to sit this one out.
Might order Cloud Blue and White silicone but still undecided

I bought all of them and I can give you my insight into them. The darker colors have not fared well. The lighter colors look pristine after months of use. Cyprus Green and Blue Navy are the absolute worst. My Blue Navy case looks like sh*t and that was only after using it 1-2 times a week for 3 months. The Green fared a little bit better. Black has been good so far. It's more of a gray and slightly lighter than the other two. Plum is starting to wear a little bit, bit nowhere near as as bad as blue and green. Kumquat, Pink Citrus, Red, and white all still look pristine. I know that Amethyst will not looks so pretty in a couple of months. It's too early to tell, but it already holds onto smudges and lint. Capri Blue and Pistachio are fabulous. They are my favorites along with Kumquat and Pink Citrus. I don't use a Magsafe charger on any of them. When I first got my phone I bought a Kumquat case and the charger ruined it. I was a little upset about that, but I bought a new one and use the damaged one at the gym. I would recommend staying far away form the Magsafe charger, especially if you invested in Apple's cases. The damage it causes is not worth it.

Most of these pics electric orange looks almost red …

Bullstrap leather cases on sale $51.96 - Prime Day.

**However, I DID NOT know Bullstrap came out with a MagSafe version.
On sale also - 59.95.

DOH! I just bought a non-MagSafe version 6 weeks ago. Ah well, these are nice cases though! (The bottom "lip" is open - like the older Apple cases. Slight downer if you want full protection on the shiny steel bottom)
