So I email Flolab asking for a refund and all of a sudden they respond saying that it was already shipped but they don’t have a tracking number. I asked for a tracking number. Then they said oh they lost the package, but we can send another. I said don’t bother give me my money back. Sigh.

Next time I get a flolab it’ll be one that’s packaged with a case like Phone Rebel does.

Yea I got the edge to edge version I think - the one without the notch cutout.

I’ve heard about that Belkin one and Apple putting them on. If it cracks can you literally walk into the Apple store and they’ll just put on a new one under warranty? If so that’s awesome. Might be worth paying the Apple tax for that. Lol

Nah, the first time they install it for you for free with their machine tool. But after that you have to go through Belkin themselves. Register your screen protector with an account on their website. They send you the same screen protector and it comes with the alignment tool (which is actually superior to a lot of other ones lol) No shipping charge, no fee, zero.

It’s honestly worth it for the screen clarity alone. The screen protector is so thin that the screen and OLED blacks looks so inky and sharp. 95% of screen protectors have a little bit or haziness to the screen which causes the OLED blacks to look more grayish if that makes any sense. It basically looks like you aren’t looking through a screen protector though you gotta get used to the notch cut out

Sweet I’m gonna keep that in mind. Flolab finally responded and refunded everything and they’re sending me a new screen protector. But next time around I’m definitely gonna look at Belkin.

You guys were right about Flolab. I ordered a screen protector from them and it arrived in 4 days, which was nice. Then I broke that protector. They have a guarantee where they’ll send me a new one for free and I just pay shipping, which is also nice. However that was a week ago that I contacted them and I’ve heard nothing. At all.
I ordered one from flolab when I had my 11 pro and saw Aaron’s review which made me pull the trigger. Took 2 months to ship. When it arrived I had completely forgotten about it and never got around to installing it. It’s somewhere in my cell phone room. Ha!

You have a whole cell phone room?

So I have my first Velvet Caviar case on the way. It’s the pink one that says Don’t Touch Me in Barbie font. Lol I don’t know why I keep doing this to my bank account, buying more cases I love just to get sick of them and rock the phone naked. Every. Time.

I was looking forward to posting pictures of my bullstrap elite case, but I ended up canceling my order a couple of days ago. With delivery still 10-15 business days out, it’s pointless for me to keep my pre order since I’ll be upgrading to the 12s/13 next month. Hopefully so gets one and posts pics! It looked like a nice case

Ugh my wife is not having the greatest luck with her Phone Rebel Crystal. First the case separation that I posted a while ago, and now with the replacement case her back glass shattered. Granted she drops her phone all the time which is why I want her to have a good case, but I guess this one’s not the one for her.

Sad to hear. did you have bad luck getting a replacement from them at one point? Was that the same case?

Just replaced those two ”summer” vibe color silicon cases , apple recognized the defect of peeling off. Anyone experienced same issue ? the orange one literally peeled off without any drop of the phone

Same old problems of old silicone case. It’s embarrassing for Apple: my two cents.

Crazy thing is, after owning them since the iPhone 6, I’ve never had that issue till now. In fact, using a silicone case on my iPhone 7 now (as an iPod Touch) and had this case since iP7 launch day. Not one chip or crack. Apple replaces them though so just call them and let them know.

Well they gave me half off a replacement. Something that was obviously a defect and they didn’t even cover it. And this is the replacement case that she’s been using where the phone ultimately broke.

Stinks cuz I like the cases but this is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Just grab her a CASETiFY case and let her pick out the design I guess at this point

Just got my Caudable IPhone 12 Pro cases with MagSafe. I only buy Caudable now after testing cases over the years, I love the feel of them, low profile, they don’t detract from the iPhone too much ( I just can’t bare case it !) .

Magsafe is powerful from what I can feel, I haven’t tested yet with my car magnet clip ( not MagSafe computable from Aliexpress) but will reply back if anyone wants

Same thing has happened to most of my Apple Silicon cases, normally pop back into the Apple Store and they replace them without any issues.

I like CASETiFY but their clear cases yellow incredibly fast. Got one for my mother in law and it yellowed in like 3 months. In the photo all of that used to be clear / white. They have great customer service though. I contacted them because her case had literally deformed to the point where it wouldn’t stay on the phone properly. Here you can see it bent backwards, and she wasn’t constantly removing her case or anything. I noticed the deformation after 6 months. They replaced it no questions asked, and it was a custom case too.

I got a question for those who own a pitaka air. Do the smudges, fingerprints etc. wipe off easily?

Reason i am asking is because i got a few black silicone, tpu etc. cases and removing smudges completely from them is near impossible.

I know pitaka is a completely different material but i read it has a rubbery feel to it and that it does collect smudges. So, do smudges wipe off completely easily?

Yeah don’t get the clear one, get the colored tpu and you won’t have that issue. They have SO many colors now.

But the deforming is weird. Could be a lot of heat came from the phone and overtime did that.

I got the magez case. It's quite easy to wipe off fingerprints with a bit of alcohol. The air case should work the same.

Last time i used alcohol wipes on a case i destroyed it. I guess aramid can handle alcohol better.
