Yeah don’t get the clear one, get the colored tpu and you won’t have that issue. They have SO many colors now.

But the deforming is weird. Could be a lot of heat came from the phone and overtime did that.

They have so many cases! But for MagSafe compatible they only have black it seems. Trying to get my wife the Ultra Impact. And man, $70-80?! I gotta look for a coupon code. Lol

I just got the sonix cases, they’re pretty protective but I got them during the sale where some were 11 bucks. The mushroom one is MagSafe and they’ve protected my phone in the past

Alternative case brands I recommend for toughness and design:

Velvet caviar (I buy so many every year)
Sonix(I also buy so many every year)
Wildflower
OtterBox symmetry

I like CASETiFY but their clear cases yellow incredibly fast. Got one for my mother in law and it yellowed in like 3 months. In the photo all of that used to be clear / white. They have great customer service though. I contacted them because her case had literally deformed to the point where it wouldn’t stay on the phone properly. Here you can see it bent backwards, and she wasn’t constantly removing her case or anything. I noticed the deformation after 6 months. They replaced it no questions asked, and it was a custom case too.

I don't know about yellowing, but I purchased a Casetify case immediately after I got myself a 12 Pro Max. And it came new BENT like that. I don't know what the deal is with Casetify because their cases are really expensive and pretty too. So I wrote to corporate and they allowed me to exchange the case for a watch band because I was afraid the same thing will happen to another case.

That’s ridiculous. I haven’t checked my mother in law’s case to see how it’s aged, but I’m not sure if I’m gonna get one for my wife. Ugh, back to the drawing board.

I was loving my Rhinoshield bumper, until I started getting scratches on the left side. I ordered this clear bumper on Amazon and giving this a go for a few days. Amazon refunded me the money for the Rhinoshield, and told me to keep the case or donate it.

I know it isn’t. This is the second bumper I ordered because the Rhinoshield bumper I have is starting to get scratches on the left side. I don’t like this bumper neither as it’s loose on the right side now. I guess I have to just buy a clear skin and use that along with the back and front glass screen protectors.

Nah, the first time they install it for you for free with their machine tool. But after that you have to go through Belkin themselves. Register your screen protector with an account on their website. They send you the same screen protector and it comes with the alignment tool (which is actually superior to a lot of other ones lol) No shipping charge, no fee, zero.

It’s honestly worth it for the screen clarity alone. The screen protector is so thin that the screen and OLED blacks looks so inky and sharp. 95% of screen protectors have a little bit or haziness to the screen which causes the OLED blacks to look more grayish if that makes any sense. It basically looks like you aren’t looking through a screen protector though you gotta get used to the notch cut out
You can bring the replacement screen to Apple store, and they will install it if you want. That’s what I did.

I’m searching high and low for a bumper case, that don’t interfere with phone signal, offer some sort of protection and don’t start peeling at the sides. I loved the Rhinoshield bumper, until it started getting scratches on the side, so I ordered a silicon bumper from AliExpress (I know it was cheap and it’s very thin but I don’t like the color). I did order this bumper to give it a try.

I think I was looking at that one yesterday. Some reviews said it interferes with signal.

I found another one that is similar and ordered that one as well. Once I receive them on Wednesday and Friday, I’m going to test both of them for 3 days each and comment on both of them.
