Just got my Peel ultra-thin hard clear case for my Mini and I’ve already decided that I’m going with it and will return the Apple MagSafe Baltic Blue leather one. It’s lightweight, holes look precise and best of all it doesn’t hide the beautiful design of the iPhone 12.

For my Pro Max

I have a Spigen Quartz Hybrid Crystal Clear. Glad I ordered it when the phone was first announced, because now they won't be in stock on Amazon until the 23rd. Even helped my phone survive without a scratch a drop from my lap getting out my car.

I also have my standard Apple saddle brown leather that I can use with my MagSafe.

I think I have another case coming eventually. 🤷‍♂️

I’ve found in the past they add a lot of bulk and heft. Don’t want anymore extra weight than necessary on this monster of a phone.

Anyone got any clear type cases that don't yellow so fast? Looking to get something for my gf since she's getting a Gold Pro Max this Friday. A lot of these solid colored cases kind of hide the beauty of the phone.

This is the conundrum I’m facing: love this pacific blue, but I’m finding clear plastic kinda cheapens the whole vibe. Maybe gonna switch gears and do leather again 🤷‍♂️

1) How much thinner (if at all) would it say it is compared to the Apple Leather case?

2) Any idea on what they refer to as:

Built in auto adjust magnets allowing Nudient signature magnet products to be effortlessly removed and re-attached to your case.

Does this mean the case has magnets and will repel against magnet mounts?

so i ordered six different clear cases for my mini. i was so excited to show off the blue. and after less than a day, i returned them all and splurged for the apple deep navy silicon case. i've never had a clear case before, in over ten years of iphones, and didn't realize how slippery they are all...and how greasy they get on the back. my phone almost slipped out of my hand several times.

decided i'd rather have a grippy case than a clear case.

I have a feeling you’re not going to like the nomad on the pro max. It will add a decent amount of bulk. I’d say about the same as a presidio grip or tech 21. Although, I’d say the closest case in size/bulk comparison would be the otter of symmetry. The nomad is definitely a middle of the road type of case.

Hard plastic, but no drop protection. I don’t need that with such a small phone anyways.

Just ordered a Bellroy Card case for my pro max. I had one on my 11 PM and liked it. It’s a little bulky but it’s been my favorite card case so far. Definitely pricey ($80).

Just a heads up to whoever uses a Pitaka Air case for 12 Pro Max, I’ve noticed cracks on the corners of the case cause of it being to tight I’m sure.

I ordered the Apple MagSafe black leather case off amazon and the Mous Limitless 3.0 at BestBuy for my 12 Pro Max and both of them are scheduled to arrive Tuesday. Both sites have an extended return policy so I can do a proper test drive with both cases. I'm hearing the Mous volume buttons are quite stiff this year and it seems people are having their iPhone pop out of their leather case so if I encounter these issues both cases are getting returned.
