I’m determined not to buy a load of cases this year (had about 20 for my 11 pro max) but have just got the Caudabe Sheath in black and it’s superb. One of the best cases I’ve used. Got it off an official seller off eBay for £27. I highly recommend.

Same here, trying to refrain. Bought and received the Smartish Kung Fu and rocking it now. Ordered and waiting on  Black leather and  silicone. Gonna try to keep it at those. Also had a bout 20 for 11 Pro Max.

ases too, baltic blue and saddle brown, I love the quality but in my field of work I need something bit more hard wearing and upon reflection these won't last very long.

after removing the case once, ive noticed super fine scratches on the sides. they are veryyyy fine but its ALL over the phone lol. i have never used the phone naked so im assuming it all came from the case. have you checked if the same thing happened to yours?
Tomorrow I'll be completing 24 hours, will update then

How is the Sheath case to hold - slippery or some grip? Likewise can it stick in pockets like silicone cases?

tbh it's too wide for my liking, especially having used the apple silicone cases for the first few days before getting the rhinoshield, AND its very slippery. not much grip. if you have longer fingers then the wideness wouldnt be a problem. I wanted to really like these as ive rocked these for previous iphones but i guess i gotta find a new daily. just updated my original post to say it also left a bunchhhhh of scratches on the sides of my phone. ugh.

What case scratched your phone? Rhinoshield Solidsuit?

Only Navy sheaths are impacted all other colours are fine.
Hmmm disagree. I have a gray Sheath and noticed that the sides don't find snug on the phone, either. I was hoping it was just me, but after buying other cases such as Apple's, there's an undeniable difference in the way the case fits. I'll now contact Caudabe as well. Pity because I love this case and still recommend it. I hope they can fix this.

I am realizing that the issue with cases coming off too easily is occurring with more than just Apple cases. It appears that companies have struggled to fit cases to the new design correctly, in general. I’m not sure if the lack of chamfered edges makes the design different from last designs or what. My wife’s iPhone 12 mini case that I got her off Amazon also comes off was too easily.

Unfortunately, seems like companies are having to re-tune things a bit on their manufacturing processes to get the fit right.

Thankfully, I don’t notice my Apple leather MagSafe case coming off unintentionally.

Returning apple clear case for my Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max. It’s way too slippery and it’s too dang cold to hold it in chilly Cali morning. I’m getting the apple Baltic Blue leather case instead. Was thinking about Caudebe shealth and other slim cases but ultimately decided to pay full price for the apple leather case. I had it for the 11 Pro Max and really loved it, it may look bulky but it’s very light and the Touch is amazing.

So what case are you all getting for the iPhone 12 Pro Max? Just got a shipping email from big red. Device should be delivered on Tuesday. I normally like Apple leather but have read some negative reviews about them feeling plasticky this year?

Just a heads up to whoever uses a Pitaka Air case for 12 Pro Max, I’ve noticed cracks on the corners of the case cause of it being to tight I’m sure.

My Pitaka MagEZ case for the 12 Pro Max doesn't fit properly either. The corner on the camera side sticks out of the case. I've reached out to Pitaka to see what they can do and just waiting for a reply. In the meantime, I've got the phone partially protected with the case but I've ordered an Apple Leather case just to have something

I picked up a Silicon case and a Leather case for my Pro Max to see which I like better. Since getting it last night I've only had it in the leather. I'll do some tests w/ MagSafe to see which one "holds" better as I'll be using the phone w/ a MagSafe carmount/charger once they come out. I'll be returning one of the cases shortly.

Also put on an ESR tempered glass screen protector for the first time ever. The wife likes screen protectors and I unintentionally bought her a 3-pack. It was so easy to put on hers and so clear, I figured what the hell.

So having sent my apple leather cases back, I’ve been using a spigen ultra hybrid. Nice clear case but the buttons are woeful, wish they could of raise the buttons slighty so you can feel them and have a tactile feeling to them.

Anyway, so I ordered a Torras Shockproof case. Similar to the Spigen Ultra Hybrid but with better buttons and a frosted soft touch back. Much better in my opinion. It also comes with changeable buttons too.

Looks and feels really nice. Nice fit and works well with a spigen ez fit screen protector.

Not a bad price too

They just got back to me today and asked for the Serial Number on the case and most likely will send me another but honestly these are not “Aramid Fiber” cases. If it was I would think they wouldn’t crack.

I should have the orange UAG Pathfinder on Monday and that's about it for now. :(

Wow, the refresh rate on the Pro Max is pretty sad. Guess I'm spoiled with these 120hz screens.

Just ordered the Apple SB case for my iPhone Pro 12. Think it's an ok combination with my ESR screen protector. And SB wallet.

Coincidence, my Ultra Hybrid arrived today! Same woe about the buttons. Other than that, a tight fit overall. I have the impression edges are stiffer than usual, e.g. if compared with the same model for iPhone X.
