I still can't decide, my Amazon delivery date is now a day later (at least) because of it. ?

For the Mini was going to go with Nomad Rugged but the lip isn't high enough above the screen for me.

Then I had the Otterbox Anae locked & loaded but read a few very negative reviews on it here, and there seems to be some question about compatibility with screen protectors.

IIRC Speck matte finishes have always rubbed off after a little use so Presidio2 Pro is out.

I won't do anything clear or shiny clear... matte all black is my preference. Don't want camera bump wobble, do want at least some drop protection.

I invest more time buying <$50 cases than I do >$700 phones. ?
Apple let me try on the Aneu case before I bought it!

Got mine too and already have a scratch in the top inside right corner from taking case off and on. Had the same problem last year with my 11.

The DBrand Grip might fit what you’re looking for. I don’t have it yet, but from what I’ve seen, it shouldn’t have any camera wobble (someone that has it can correct me if I’m wrong). Matte black, great grip (I have the updated version on my Note 20 Ultra with the more grippy sides and love it), and you can always use it with or without a skin (I tend to use them without a skin). The drop protection is great, and I actually love the way they raise the top and bottom bezels but lower them on the edges of the screen to make swiping easier.
Let me know how the face protection is on that. I looked at it and the similar Mous, but the Mous didn't look like it had enough raiseivity to be Slamboy Certified (see: Flossy Carter).

Thanks for the link. Now I am back to undecided lol. Maybe I will get a dBrand this year. Was thinking of getting one for my Pixel 5 as well.

I’m waiting until tomorrow to see if DBrand runs any sort of Black Friday sale on their cases (I doubt it, but it doesn’t hurt to wait). If they do, I may grab one for my Pixel 5 too, in addition to my 12 Pro Max.

Lol plan on doing the same. Hope they run a sale. We shall see.

Found this 2/2020 video, promising results from the DBrand Grip if you're planning on dropping your iPhone from 50 feet:

Not sure if current case is same as iP11, but fwiw.

But this pretty much kills the DBrand for me:

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The big things for me are the potential incompatibility with some screen protectors, and that there are noticeable seams around the entire rim of the case. There’s a tiny bit of sag by the lightning port cutout as well.

Got an ESR Case here in India; Fits very good, one of the easier cases to install.
The back of the case is actually tempered glass with Matt finish and I like the feel of it.

Not too expensive, about 12$; Pretty happy with it.

Just ordered the mujjo tan leather case for my black 12 mini. Will post pics once received.
It’s a nice case. I’ve been using it for a day and it fits very well, and feels good in the hands. All corners fit tight with no popping off of the phone randomly like my apple leather case did. The buttons do feel strange though, but they’re acceptable coming from Nomad’s rugged case. The Nomad is still my favorite case to date.

For anyone interested, Sena is running their Black Friday sale. Use code HOLIYAY40. Total shipped for a 12/12 pro leather toffee case is $28.96 within the States. That’s a pretty good discount.

Edit: Ordered the Sena for the 12. I’m a glutton for punishment and can’t stick to one leather case. Hopefully it’s a bit bulkier than my current Mujjo and doesn’t feel as processed.
