Which Case Did You Get For Your New iPhone 12/Mini/Pro/Max? [Merged]

I have the new Apple sleeve on order for my 12 Pro Max, because I like using my phone without case, but at the same time want to protect my iPhone, particularly the rear camera lenses from scratches when travelling or putting the phone down on rough surface. A nice side benefit is it includes card slot, which will mean I don’t need to carry wallet as well. I doubt if I will use the included carry strap, but might in the summer if dressed without Max size pocket to carry phone.

Don’t know how user friendly will be the sleeve, but know I don’t want to spoil the iPhone user experience with case on all the time.

I did. But it is one of those where it has not been picked up yet. I chose default shipping so I assume it will be a slow roll to my house lol.

That is weird. My shipment has not moved or been picked up by UPS yet. So dunno when it will actually arrive.

Still have the Monarch. May return it tomorrow however lol. Especially with the Pelican on the way.

I too would have ordered black if available, but as not, ordered the Baltic blue - the other colours are too bright for my liking.

I sent them feedback on the 24th and finally replied today and offered to send me a 3rd case. I agreed because maybe they’ll get it right finally? I did notice that Amazon is now selling a new version of the case with a different PN. Maybe they’ve figured it out.

If you are correct, then that kinda sucks. That means Smartish is selling the new/fixed cases to new customers BEFORE taking care of the folks that bought the case a month ago.

I still would advise folks not to buy the Smartish iPhone 12 cases yet. This has been a bad experience for a lot of us, and we don't know for sure that they are selling cases that fit right and don't require a 2-handed button push.

It took them 9 days to reply to you. That is the same sort of lapses I have been seeing. Poor case and poor communication.

I'm glad I also got a Totalee case. I can use it when I don't need the wallet function. Its great using a case that fits and easily allows you to press the buttons. Totalee got it right.

Mine’s been doing the exact same thing. Was supposed to be delivered on Monday, got delayed until Tuesday, and still hasn’t shown up today.

For those that ordered from Caudabe, can you tell me how long it took? I placed an order on November 27, and got an e-mail that it shipped on the 29th. However, whenever I track the shipment, it's always in the same status. I've ordered from Caudabe before, but I don't remember shipping being this slow. My 12 Pro Max came in yesterday, but I have no case and no screen protector (I ordered the full coverage Spigen one from Amazon, and supposedly I won't get it until December 13).

I ordered a Lucid Clear (smoke) on the 27th as well and it arrived today. Then again, they seem to ship out of Cincinnati and I’m in central Kentucky, so not that far to travel.

Side note, I’ll be returning the Lucid Clear. It, much like the Sheath they’re replacing, doesn’t fit the 12 Pro Max (it won’t snap onto the bottom). I don’t know what Caudabe is doing, but they’re having all sorts of issues with their cases this time around.

I've ordered for Caudabe and they ship the same day as long as it is in stock. They just ship my Navy Blue Sheath and it should arrive on Friday.

Nice! Glad to see yours finally showed up and that’s good about the grips. My mail should be here shortly, so we’ll see if mine actually shows up. I love that blue, too!

Just another update. I repurchased the OtterBox Symmetry+ with MagSafe, this one seems to be fine with my screen protector, and I like it! A little loose on the edge but no worse than some of the other cases i've had. I think ive found my case!

I’ll take pics on Friday if it shows up. Got it on the 40% off sale but blue had already sold out. 50% sale on Monday had none of the new colors left.

CarbonThat Kevlar. The fit and feel of this case is amazing. 14 grams, 11 lighter than my sheath. Bit shorter and not as wide too.
