Ended up going with a magbak case. The most I've ever paid for a phone case but also one of the very few that allow me to mount my phone to any metallic surface. Very helpful while working out.

Design-wise it's very ummm underwhelming but love the functionality.

Finally trying out an Apple Leather case in Midnight. First ever Apple case, curious to see how it goes. Snagged it on Ebay for $25 so figured, why not.

Not a bad case. It fits well and has a good amount of grip after a couple of weeks of use. I have one for my 13 mini and it’s my go to. I have the apple clear case, a saddleback case and the apple leather midnight. On the way is a rustic brown nomad.

If it’s a snug fit in pants pockets, check it when you get it out. I find the cases have a habit of popping off on one or two corners of my phone. Not enough that the phone will fall out, so no risk of it dropping and getting damaged. I’ve had this with 2 different cases on 2 different 13PM phones 6 months apart, so it’s a design issue that Apple either can’t fix, or just aren’t bothering with.

Can anyone recommend a case please (that can be bought in the UK), that is v.good quality and offers good protection.

I have tried the official Apple Leather Case, and I found it was very poor quality considering the price. My phone would also pop out in the corners when taking the phone out of my pockets.

I have tried the Dbrand Grip Case, but I didn't like the rough feel of the grip part of the case.

Nobody ranting and raving over the new Phone Rebel buttons

Lol. I am not going to rant and rave over them. They are a definite improvment over the orginal ones. They are also metal as you know. As far as clickiness, I suppose they are better, but they are not super awesome either. Did they upgrade anything about this case with new buttons, or did they just create new buttons for the existing case?

My two cents.

New case is exactly the same as the original.

Update on the new UAG Civilian Magsafe case: Returning it to Amazon. The back of this case literally scratches like butter. I'm very careful with my phones and I have a bunch of scratches on this thing from just taking it in and out of my pocket and placing it on the MagSafe charger. I can't live with that for a $60.00 case. Back in the good ole Ringke Onyx $11.00 case
