… How’s the feel and weight compared to the apple leather case?
It definitely feels bulkier. I’m not totally sure of the weight. I think it’s a bit heavier but that wasn’t something I paid attention to. The other thing that bothered me about the Apple case was that the steel band of the phone was visible. It felt and looked to me like an open leather box with a phone inside. The nomad case has a little lip that covers the band and is overall more pleasing as it feels and looks like a case should imo.
How are the buttons? Are they mushy at all? I love the apple leather case because they still click and are tactile.
They are nowhere close to the feel and satisfying click of the Apple buttons but they aren’t horrible either. They are plastic buttons which are easy to feel and do have a tactile feedback and audible click. My volume down button is a bit softer and mushy than the volume up and the side/Siri button is actually pretty good. I’m really unsure why they didn’t use anodized aluminum buttons. They have those in the sport case.

I just took off the dbrand skin to apply the following case:

TOZO Compatible for iPhone 13 Pro Case 6.1 inch Hard Cover 0.35mm World's Thinnest Protect Shell Semi Transparent Light Weight Thin Cover with Matte Finish Black

Folks, it is gooood. Had the same brand on my 12 Pro and also really liked it. If you’re looking for a super thin case you can’t do much better.
Is the camera bump on the case deeper than the camera lenses? I bought the Nudient case which is a similar very thin case and was disappointed that the camera bump on the case didn’t seem deep enough From the photos, that looks similar?

The ridge around the camera bump seems to extend just beyond the lenses. It’s very close, but it you lay the phone down I don’t think the lenses will make contact with the surface. It’s very well designed.

Has anyone ever tried the Peel hard clear case? If so, how does it hold up? Peel soft clear case? I like the size of these really thin cases, but it’s really hard to justify paying so much for such thin plastic.

Here's a video review on the Peel hard clear case compared to the soft clear case

I actually just placed an order for the Peel hard clear case (for my iPhone 13 Pro) and I currently have the clear soft case from Totallee and it's slim but not super thin compared to the Peel hard case.

I've had Peel hard clear case for my past iPhone X and 11 and they've been good but they tend to deform a bit around the corners if you constant take the case on and off but that was before the new flat edge design. We'll see how well they hold up with the new design.

Is the Peel clear soft (or hard?) case the one that compares to the likes of the Power Support Air Jacket Clear, Totallee, etc.? The Peel soft clear is pricey AF at $35!

Yes. It’s a hard pill to swallow paying over $30 for a super thin piece of plastic. I’m pretty sure that the Peel hard case is a good bit thinner than the Power Support Clear. It’s more along the lines of the hard Totallee case.

Peel and Totallee both make a soft clear case that’s basically identical in thickness.

The Power Support Air Jacket Clear was $29.95. I used a 10% coupon code. Plus $3.98 shipping. It is a nice case, but I wouldn’t mind something thinner.

Agree. Got mine this week. Basically hard plastic like Apple's clear case but closed bottom and less slippery. It's in my rotation now though.

I have used an Otterbox Commuter for years on my last couple of iPhones, and before that I preferred Speck (until they made changes) I am looking for a similar case for my iPhone 13 pro with similar type protection and convenience, but with the addition of solid MagSafe functionality. What I’ve always liked about the Commuter is that it’s very protective in most situations, it is not too thick, it has a good amount of grip, it slides easily in and out of my pocket, and it protects my screen without feeling the need for a screen protector.

I have been reading a lot of posts of other people’s experiences and have kind of zeroed in on several cases that I might like.

  1. Apple case.
    a. Does it provide enough protection
    b. Does it kinda need a screen protector because of the lower case bezel height
    c. Benchmark MagSafe performance
  2. Mous Sleeve
    a. I have never used one, but it seems to be a favorite.
    b. Does it protect well from drops?
    c. How does the MagSafe compare to Apple? Is inefficient wireless charging harder on batteries?
  3. Speck Presido (Presido2, Presido Perfect-Mist)
    a. Seems solid.
  4. Otterbox (Symmetry+, Aneu, Pro Defender Series XT, one with MagSafe)
    a. Since their MagSafe cases are one-piece, am I getting the protection I’m used to?
Does anyone have any experience with these cases compared to each other?

Does anyone know of the best clear case for iPhone 13 Pro Max? Have looked at Spigen, Ringke & ESR but not sure which to choose. TPU or hard plastic. Don't really like the Magsafe logo on certain cases so ideally without that.

I love the Caseology Skyfall, has a nice snug fit and also has grips on the side which most if not all is missing and end up being slippery.

What exactly are you looking for in a clear case?
  • Thinness of case
  • Clarity (clear back or texture to minimize rainbow effect)
  • Branding on case
  • Soft or Hard clear case
  • Price
There are tons of YouTube videos on reviewing clear cases that I've been watching so you can search for some of those to see if any of those clear cases might be best for you. Good luck!

I currently have the Totallee soft clear case and have the following two cases on order:
  1. Benks TPU+Hard back with Magsafe
  2. Peel Clear hard case

Got this Mujjo wallet case. Really like it. It’s slimmer than the apple silicon case. Have it on a SB Pro Max.
They say it only holds two cards but I have three - drivers license, bank card, and building pass (plus a metro card which is very thin).

Really liking it.

Nice pics!! I also really like the Mujjo Full Leather Wallet case for the 13 Pro Max...but be aware that the version for the iPhone 13 is quite different. I just reviewed them:

Yeah the Totallee care was the first case I bought for my 13 Pro but was looking to see what other new cases would be available after launch.

Reason I ended up order the other two cases:
  1. For the Magsafe support since I use the Apple Wallet and Magsafe charger
  2. Thinner case than the Totallee, which was already thin but since it's soft clear, it's not as thin compared to the hard versions.
I think you'll like the Peel Clear hard case if you're aiming to go thinner than the Power Support Air Jacket.

I currently have the Benks clear case (the non magsafe version) and I love it. Let me know if you prefer the Peel or Totallee case over it. One thing I love about the Benks case is the metal buttons.

Peel all the way! I've tried countless cases (I've had every iPhone iterations since the first one) and landed on Peel since the X. Love how slim they are and even with a couple pocket slips/drops every year....never have had a screen crack.
