My man I appreciate that for sure and yeah I need to figure out a way to cater to both audiences because I hate you guys can’t tune in and def isn’t the first time I’ve heard that. Sorry man no mini cases of as of now but that might change if I decided to get the Mini!
Once again man thank you for the support!
No worries man! I understand about the mini, let’s hope you get one… I think it’s amazing!

hopefully in 2 weeks when I am on vacation I can stay up and jump on the stream live, if I can stay up for wrestling events I can stay up once to catch your stream live!

my retired parents just subscribed to your channel too and my dad ordered 4 cases after your video today (Mous, Caudabe, Dbrand Grip and the Speck)

Ehhh I don’t think I’m far from wrong at all. I could choose 5 other cases easily over the Apple cases. Trust me I don’t mind paying for cases and the best cases are the ones that cost a little more. Silicone case takes a drop or something and then boom it’s damaged. Other cases can take drops and you barely see drop damage. They are nice with all the colors but not durable at all. That’s just my
Lol, I guess we’ll agree to disagree. The Apple cases aren’t meant for people with terrible motor skills or butterfinger-itis 😂 For the majority of people who don’t drop their phones though, they’re perfect for everyday use for years! It’s a nice OEM look and feel.

Not everybody wants a tacky looking more protective case on their phone but that’s all subjective and there are outliers.

After a while I just hate the plastic and TPU feeling of most cases, it makes the iPhone feel dumb cheap.

Its all good and I respect your opinion for sure. Of course it isn't made for someone who drops their phone but hey mistakes can be made lol.

Completely understand your point, butterfingers over here even had issues with the small iPhone 4/5s 😂

My case search continues...
I originally purchased the Caudabe Sheath, but couldn't handle the added thickness and weight.
I then purchased the Midnight Apple leather. The volume buttons were perfect, but the power button was mushy. I had to press it perfectly in the center and basically squeeze that side of the case. I exchanged it for a different one. This new one has mushy volume and power buttons; on top of that, all of the buttons are crooked. Instead of exchanging it again, I might just return it. I've already purchased the TORRAS Slim Fit from Amazon. I think some people on here have already used it with good reviews.
I honestly haven't heard anyone describe the Caudabe sheath as adding thickness and weight. IMO its probably one of the lightest ones I've found and doesn't add any extra size compared to the Apple silicone, leather, etc. Guess its a good thing there's so many cases to choose from.

Edit: Appears for the 13's it is heavier so apologies @WNYX. I only have the 12PM to compare.

I have both in my hands. It's not thicker heavier to me. 12 PM and 13 PM. Feels the same

Also tried a Caudabe Sheath on my 12 Pro and it was absolutely thicker and heavier than my Apple leather case.

What exactly are you looking for in a clear case?
  • Thinness of case
  • Clarity (clear back or texture to minimize rainbow effect)
  • Branding on case
  • Soft or Hard clear case
  • Price
There are tons of YouTube videos on reviewing clear cases that I've been watching so you can search for some of those to see if any of those clear cases might be best for you. Good luck!

I currently have the Totallee soft clear case and have the following two cases on order:
  1. Benks TPU+Hard back with Magsafe
  2. Peel Clear hard case
Want the case to be thin but not crazy thin. Full clarity so I can see that Siera Blue. Branding kept to a minimum not plastered all over. Usually get full soft cases but wouldn't mind one with a hard back. Currently have a Spigen Ultra Hybrid which has served me well for two years. Don't mind spending a bit for the right case but don't want it to go crazy. The case you recommend looks good but can't find it here in the UK.

Well the weight is the weight and the caudabe sheath for a 12 pro max is 28.4 grams, Apple leather 32.7 grams. The thickness I guess is in the eye of the beholder and I don't have calipers.😀 I will say if you take a look at the sheath's edges they somewhat curl inwards and one reason I like that it gives a snug fit but also might make it feel thicker on the edges at least. Anyways, I have both and like to rock them at different times.

What's the sheath 13 max weight? more to the point here.

Looks like the sheath with MagSafe is heavier this year for the 13's per this members test.

But the 13 Pro's are heavier than last years 12 Pro's so take that into account.

12 Pro - 6.66 oz (189.0 g)
13 Pro - 7.20 oz (204.0 g)

Is yours loose on the bottom left of the case? I’m likely going to return mine because of this. Every time I touch the bottom left of the phone, I feel the phone shift. It drives me a bit insane. Maybe I’m just too anal.
Yes it is, didn’t notice at first but the bottom left is loose and makes a creaking sound every time I touch it. Going to try a replacement… although I’ve seen other people complain about it too so think it’s a design issue.

I’ve had two and they were both loose. As I mentioned on another thread, I think this is Apple’s way of curing the problem of the 12 series clear cases that would crack at the lower corners, often within hours of putting the case on the phone. Now it’s gone from a little too tight to a little too loose.

Just got the Tozo case in from Amazon for the iPhone 13 Pro. I’m getting more and more drawn to these thin cases. Not the most grip but I think I can deal with it. MagSafe magnets still connect and have a little strength but not much. I need something thin like this with MagSafe but I’m sure it’s not possible lol.

No worries! I appreciate the update.

I wound up exchanging the Midnight Apple leather for the Spigen Thin Fit. I'll be using this case until my TORRAS Slim Fit arrives. I'm really liking this year's Spigen Thin Fit so far (I wasn't a fan of last year's version) and it might wind up being my daily driver even when the TORRAS arrives. I'll try to take some pictures this week. I think it's 25 grams and I believe it is thinner than the Apple leather. The weird thing is that the box says it's for the 2021 6.7"/iPhone 12 Pro Max, so if your box says that, don't worry - you got the right one. I bought it from Best Buy for $17.99 (cheaper on Amazon). Even though their inventory showed only one in stock, I found close to ten. This was the case at two Best Buy locations I checked out today. I think whoever entered them into the system saw iPhone 12 Pro Max on the box and stocked them incorrectly.

Initially Apple Silicone case. Form fitting. High quality. My only concern is the flat edges, which makes it slightly more difficult to hold onto and more hand fatigue IMO.

Ordered Moshi iglaze case since the 12 Pro version had nice rounded edges . It feels thicker than previous Moshi iglaze cases and also more flat edges with made me go back to the Apple one since it’s a smaller foot print.

Will decide which case to keep the rest of the month.

Ringke Fusion-X black camo just arrived for my 13 pro max. Don’t usually go with designs but thought this would look interesting with the Sierra blue. Not bad! Really like the feel of the ridged back which also provides good grip. Sides have plenty of grip as well as contours allowing for a solid grasp. Buttons are great and it feels remarkably slim in hand, despite the chunky features. Might prefer it to the Ringke onyx. View attachment 1856541

The pattern will peel off very soon by itself, I have the same case for 11
