I currently have the Silicone Light Pink case for my silver iPhone 13 pro max. But after 1 drop it is destroyed (the case). I’m now not sure if I should try the apple leather case- or maybe an otter box/speck with MagSafe
Whenever I've dropped my Apple leather cases in the past (and regardless of how much damage occurred), all I had to do was squeeze and knead where it got damaged and the leather pretty much healed itself; similar to molding clay. Obviously, it wasn't back to a perfect condition, but the area that was damaged would develop a nice scar and patina.

Yep. Usually leather cases hold up better than silicon over the time.

Hasn't worked for me yet.

Going to try a mous case. Got 40% off voucher so May as well. Just can’t get on with the sheath this year. Also love the Pitaka mag Ez 2 but lack of protection is a concern.

So far I’m really liking my Limitless 4.0 with the aramid back. It is more “ slippery” than my Otterbox Defender on my old iPhone 11 Pro but in reality the overall width of the 13 Pro Max in this case is not much more than the Otterbox. So far I’ve been really pleased with the case and I normally have used Otterboxes on my phones for the last 8-10 years.
The only thing I do miss (and yes it looks redneck but that’s what I am) is the carrier that came with the Otterbox. Sometimes it was nice being able to attach the phone to a pocket.

Ordered a 13 Pro Max, set to be delivered today. Ordered the Midnight Apple leather case for starters. Seems like a lot of the cases from last year that sucked, still suck this year. Or am I wrong? Lol.

Why is that?

A lot of people are disappointed by the weight of the Sheath this time around. They added MagSafe, and that’s a good thing (although my non-MagSafe Sheath for my 12 Pro Max didn’t have it and still charged fine with the puck). But it’s the way they added it.

Instead of embedding the MagSafe ring in the case itself, they added a plastic insert to the back of the case that has the MagSafe magnets, adding a ton of weight to the case and making it less flexible than before.

While the new Sheath still remains my favorite case for my 13 Pro Max, it’s definitely a step down from the former design.

Yeah I would have gone with the darker brown again. Only cases I have right now are Sequoia and Midnight (I do like that one...super dark blue) Holding up ok I guess, I'm not really looking at to see if the dye is coming off...I'll notice it eventually. Itching to get a new case though.

I have this 12 PM Bullstrap just sitting here, maybe used for 1/2 day total before I gave into the 13 pro max. Ugh. I have to sell it.
