Do you think the back will end up with a lot of dust under the case ? Would be a pain to take off to clean…
I haven’t noticed any! And I get dirty as hell a lot of days at work! So I think that’s a good sign for things to come!

Anyone using the Speck Presidio Grip? This has been my go to case forever and I'm confident at its ability to withstand drops but it's definitely less grippy (though still has great side grip) this year without the raised back which has given way to make room for magsafe. I'm torn between it and the Mous but I've read a few people say the Mous Limitless 5.0 has some sharp edges?

Anyone notice any sharp edges on the Mous? Any speckled case Mous owners? How's the grip?

This is good to know plus not scratching easy .. I think I may pick this case up , I love how it’s a nice tight fit and since I have the black one I’ll use that black rim on the clear back case….
I also love the fit of the Speck grip case so I’ll continue to waste money on cases hahaha

I actually love the fit of the grip case , my fear is the back getting a lot of smudges and I also wonder if the back of the phone can scratch in the case with no lining ….

Yeah the black rim on the front makes the case for me… I didn’t like the clear rim it comes with…. It’s distracting to look at and not as clean looking in my opinion! With the clear back and black front rim it’s been my favorite case since I picked it up!

I’ve been using it for the last few weeks. I actually modded it a little. I bought a cheap branded case with powerful magnets and swapped them in the grip. The magnets are very strong and the case provides a nice uneven texture that helps me hold the phone better. I’ll likely stick with it and let the many other cases talk amongst themselves in the drawer.

Did you add any felt lining over the magnet to prevent scratches to the phone ? How does the back of the case hold up to smudging?

Smudges aren’t bad. There’s a plastic protective film in the case already. I peeled it from the case, removed the magnets and inserted the new ones. Then I reapplied the protective film. Pretty simple. I used the case pictured for the magnets because I already had the case. I’m sure any cheap case with strong magnets will work though. Benks has really strong ones.

I have had many of these clear polycarbonate back cases over the years like the Lifeproof Next and they always scratched easy like butter. I would like to try the Defender XT but that clear back scares me.

Are you referring to the Speck or Mous? How did you replace the magnets?

I tried the charcoal with bronze grip. Case fit great- grip was decent, but the back was completely smudged after 1-2 days.
You gotta hit the case with a wet wipe and keep it clean. 😂

Maybe I don’t notice many smudges because I do this a lot. Sometimes I wipe the case and phone with a paper towel I dry my hands with.

I can post some pics after a week of use if you want. That way you can see for yourself if you want to try it or not.. I had the life proof next for iPhone 11 and one on my 12pro… those things were scratched just by taking them out of the packaging lol… this one is still holding up very well 🤞

I have had the clear defender pro xt for about a week now. I haven’t had any scratching issues. Grip on the case is excellent. The case is wider than Megan thee stallions booooty but it is quite slim.
