Shame I didn't find this thread before, since I change cases regularly.

My case preferences are:

- Otterbox Symmetry
- Smartish Gripmunk
- Ringke Onyx
- Nomad Rugged Case (Orange Edition)
- UAG Pathfinder
- Speck Presidio 2
- Caudabe Sheath
- Spigen Liquid Air
- Rhinoshield SolidSuit
What’s your top 2 of this list?

Can only keep one case, which one is it?

Mine is the Catalyst Influence MagSafe version.

(I apologize if this has been asked. But things change and I’m curious.)

for me today it would be the phone rebel frosted with MagSafe. close second would be the otter box defender xt in all black. the clear messes too much with my ocd.
I enjoy the XT as well. I have both versions. I started with the clear then got the black recently. I like how grippy it is, and how durable it is… don’t have to worry about wiping it down ever. Only thing I would change is how much width it seems to add in hand.

My black XT seems to scratch pretty easy on the back. Any other black XT users notice scratches on the back?
Couple Magsafe charges on my Nomad Stainless block and I got a couple scratches :(

I just got this today. So much for staying disciplined. The back of the phone case is so "sticky" I am surprised. Very good grip. I expected it would be very slippery.
Yea, was very surprised how grippy the shiny back was, sides not so grippy.

The case struggle is real! Picked up the Mous and while I can see why many like it, the sharp edges really were not for me. Totally subjective of course, but didn't feel right in my hand. I love my Speck Presidio Grip, but it's so much slippier than before.

Why can't I find a case that fits somewhere in the middle between these two? Not too thick, good grip with strong drop protection. Not interested in dbrand but every thing I look at, either this group or YouTubers knock the grip on every case I'm considering (Benks, Rebel, etc.)

rebel doesn’t have much grip at all. depending on which model you get, some are even quite slippery. they are great looking cases though imo.

what about Smartish cases? i have never had one but they claim to have good grip. gripmunk and the heavier duty gripzilla. just a thought. also some here like the Catalyst Influence case. it has some grip. i ended up returning mine for different reasons.

From what I've seen on videos, the corners pop off quite easily when dropped so not quite as protective as I would like. They do feel like they would hit the spot on grip though.
