Does the Otterbox Symmetry + in Black scratch real easy and show the MagSafe ring after charging on the back?

I didn’t have that issue. I returned mine though. I felt like the phone could be pushed out of the case too easily. wasn’t the tight fit I’ve grown accustomed to with the Symmetry series. But I guess things are different for different phone models… I have the Defender XT for my iPhone 14 pro and also for my iPhone 13 (the new one fits both 13 and 14) and my case for the 13 is a month newer with a lot less mileage and it got scratched to ****, while the iPhone 14 pro 6.1 model is flawless with a lot of usage on it. I think the small surface area because of the big camera module protects it from being scratched. So I guess my point is, my experience with the 6.1” pro cases might be different than for the 6.7” pro max cases.

tried the Matte Black Casetify Ultra impact. the pack gets scratched basically out of the box. Went back to amazon quickly. Very disappointing.
Idk why but I can never get on board with the branded camera ring on those cases. But I don’t blame you for sending it back for those prices it has to be spot on.

Just received the Black Leather Limitless 5.0 so far I’m really liking it. Same great fit and feel as the Aramid but without the oily fingerprints. More grippy. Overall love it. I have a quick pic for now but maybe later I can do my best Hooterville impression and get some better pics of it.. 😃
You find it grippy? I just returned the leather because I thought it was really slippery.

I do, I mean my hands are kind of rough so maybe that helps? Lol but I do like the grip and feel in hand compared to the Aramid Fiber version. The only way I know how to describe it is, sometimes the aramid fiber feels like putting my hands on a chalk board.

I can't take my recent black Ryan London case off! I've owned numerous leather cases from different companies, in different colors, and for me....yes I know its subjective this case is perfect in everyway. Extremely tactile in a short amount of time, the buttons are the best I've ever used and the fit is so precise its incredible.

Could you post a few pics, please?

This looks nice , can you confirm are the sides and bottom nice and tight/stiff or if you tug on that area it pulls easily?

Accidentally scratched the back of my UAG Pathfinder the other day (ugly shiny scratch on the matt surface) so am back in the Midnight Apple leather. It's my fave in hand of all cases (and matched the Leather Link on my Ultra) but I don't feel it's protective enough.
So ordered a Sheath in Crimson. Never had the Sheath before so am looking forward to trying it when arrives from the States.

Totally agree. That camera ring is ugly to me as well. But I wanted to try it. Never again
Agreed, Gotta try for yourself! I tried one for my 13 PM last year and sent it right back. It seemed like a high quality product but scratched too easily like you said, and the camera ring= no bueno lol

Are you using a MagSafe charger? I love all my Caudabe Sheath cases for my previous phones but, for my 14 PM while using the MagSafe charger there's an imprint of the round circular magnet showing in the back. That droves me crazy so I had to return my black synthesis, 2 black sheaths, and AMETHYST Sheath.

Sucks cause I love everything about Caudabe cases except the round imprint from the MagSafe. I will revisit them for my future phone but not this gen.

Interesting that it happened to all four of your cases. Did it come off at least after a clean/wipe?

That’s unfortunate. I noticed if you put the MagSafe puck inside of one of those “holders” for MagSafe pucks it does not make the mark. I’ll post a pic of the one I have below and have never seen a ring on my cases since.

Yes, but the scratch is not from that. I have a metal phone stand on my desk and dragged it across the corner.

Regarding MagSafe rings on cases, doesn‘t bother me.
i had it on the aforementioned Pathfinder and a barely noticeable one on the Apple Leather. Won’t bother me if one appears on the Sheath.

I’m fussy with marks/scratches on my cases but MagSafe ring marks I’m ok with, weirdly. Maybe it’s because it’s perfect circle, I dunno. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Interesting. Please send me a link to that holder. I have the same official Apple MagSafe charger. Thanks

I have the stainless steel block from Nomad (one that Tee uses in his videos) and this thing will scratch some cases and leave the Magsafe ring. I also have the metal standup Nomad one and like it better than the block. These both use the standard MagSafe puck from Apple.

My favorite is the 2 in 1 from Otterbox. It has a nice soft touch finish on its pad and leaves no Magsafe ring on 90% of the cases.

Anyone using the Speck Presidio Grip? This has been my go to case forever and I'm confident at its ability to withstand drops but it's definitely less grippy (though still has great side grip) this year without the raised back which has given way to make room for magsafe. I'm torn between it and the Mous but I've read a few people say the Mous Limitless 5.0 has some sharp edges?

Anyone notice any sharp edges on the Mous? Any speckled case Mous owners? How's the grip?
I’m curious how the speckled Mous case is, does that back of it hold up well the wear ?

Apple Leather is actually very protective for it's size but pair it with a screen protector due to the corners having a chance slipping off. IIRC, the Sheath is also incredibly protective for it's size due to it's material being a bit different than other TPUs. It's all about the material for these slimmer cases.

I too ordered a Sheath for the first time and it's otw. I've always read about them on here, on videos, etc. I just think they're a little too bland/cheap looking but after a while I am appreciating it's simplicity. I've heard the texture and feel of the case is premium though, we'll see!
