Phone Rebel just posted a preview of Gen 5 on their Instagram for the upcoming iPhone 15 series

The added grip is definitely nice. What i'm wondering is how case manufacturers will handle capacitive buttons if the rumors of solidstate buttons are legit, which look like they will be.

off topic: haven’t shot a photo yet (kinda embarrassed at the size of my wrist lol) but got today the pitaka carbon fiber watch band for my series 7. i dig the look of it and the feel. i wanted to buy the apple black metal band until i saw the price of it. the pitaka band is lightweight. i got the modern version. i didn’t know that pitaka has a warehouse literally 5 min from my house.

Here they are. Def doesn’t look the same as aramid fiber. Has more of a shine to it. Grip is much better than solidsuits used to be. Fit is still great, just no MagSafe, if that’s important to you.
Just wanted to update y’all. I am disappointed in Rhinoshield’s return policy. The info they send you when you reach out for a return is a bit condescending in my opinion. Also, they aren’t keeping up with the competition by giving you a prepaid label to send it back. It’s on you to bring it to a carrier of your choice and pay to send it back. So not only are you paying to ship it when you buy it, but you are shipping to mail it back. How do they get off free and clear of any responsibility lol. My major gripe is that the photos on their website do not accurately depict the product and I told them that, now they have not responded. My advice would be, if you want one of their products, do not buy directly thru them, buy it thru Amazon to save yourself any headaches.

Been there, done that, will never buy another Rhinoshield product as long as I live.

I’m back to using my clear Casetify Bounce case. What a great fitting phone case. And those large corners give you something to grip on easily. And I can pull it out of my pockets securely, with just two fingers around the bumpers. And the protection is wonderful, although some may complain it’s a little too bulky. When Compared to an otterbox defender however, it’s not as bulky, but as protective.

Received the Catalyst Crux about a week ago and it hasn’t come off my phone since. I absolutely love it. I wanted to wait a little while before I spoke on it but I really think it’s my “glass slipper” because I love the way it’s slim but looks cool and rugged lol. I do agree with Hooterville in the fact that the buttons leave a lot to be desired, mine are a bit hard to press, but are breaking in over time. But I can live with the buttons since I like the look, feel and fit so much. Also worth mentioning, hooterville said the magnetic strength is @$$ but I haven’t tested it yet because I don’t use MagSafe very often, and if I do then I can use another case that I have for the moment. I almost didn’t try but I’m glad I did!

Does anyone have any photos or intel on this Tech 21 Evo Lite in black? It looks right up my alley but I was curious if it’s one of those that show oils and smudges like the Torras Slim Case?

Edit: after searching high and low on YouTube and Google, I couldn’t find a single picture or review of this case… could mean that it’s not worth talking about but I took one for the team in the name of research and ordered one… 😂
Oh my goodness. This case is Doodooooo! I can’t believe they want $30 bucks for it. I bought a “used-like new” from Amazon for 12 dollars and still feel duped. It’s going back yesterday! The fit is horrible, the sides pop off just holding it.(you can see the metal side of the iPhone poking out in my picture.) you can find things on Amazon for 10 bucks that blow this case away. Nothing good to say about it unfortunately. Strange though because usually Tech 21 has great fit if nothing else!

Damn, I might have to order another one and give it some more time. Maybe I didn't give it enough love before returning

Yeah dude I love this thing. The raised corners make it feel like I have a death grip on the thing lol. But you’re def right that the buttons aren’t the best, they do break in some at least so far. But I haven’t felt the need to try any other cases since I got this. The Tech 21 showed up and I forgot I had ordered it, that never happens, embarrassingly I’m usually like a kid on Christmas checking my tracking on Amazon for when it will arrive LOL. But I would be all for giving it another go, but sometimes different cases work more for different people so I assume no liability if you still hate it 🤣🤣

I ordered a Lucid Clear case without MagSafe for my 14PM, and it shipped this morning. I have the Lucid Clear with MagSafe and it’s noticeably bulky and heavier than the Lucid Clear on my 12PM. Hopefully this one is following in the same footsteps as my 12PM.

No I love the purple silicon. I’ve been back and forth with switching to the Lucid clear with MagSafe because my work pants make it hard to put my phone in my pocket and take it out. The silicon case feel lighter and more comfortable carrying around. Plus I don’t see the dust and debris that collect in one day with the Lucid Clear.

That is true….It’s been sooo long since I had a clear. Only because I don’t like seeing stuff get in behind it. Drives my ocd nuts. I liked their sky blue case but I really love my carved cases. Contemplating a live edge maybe at the end of the year.

That’s the only thing I hate about the clear cases. I love seeing the color of my phone but not at that expense. I’m not upgrading this year, so I’ll buy another case in September to make my phone feel new.
