Yeah grip is good, the sides are TPU/ rubber and the back is hard with the top part being a frosted finish so where your fingers sit when holding it you’ve got plenty of grip.

They’ve got silicone and aluminium cases too but I always hate the lint that silicone seems to collect in my pockets.

Thanks I may check this one out. Cheers!

How is the grip on that bad boy? Looks good!

The grip is excellent with this case. Tight fit, excellent grip, no fingerprints or Magsafe ring showing on the back.
The cons are: buttons suck, symmetrical cutouts on the bottom and it has pretty weak Magsafe strength.
I'll keep it this time around, give it more use and see how it goes.

I agree the buttons 💨 but they seem to get better after a couple of days. At least that was my experience

What sucks is that last year this case was called the Vibe and used the same interchangeable buttons and mute switch as the Influence. This case would have been perfect if they used the floating Influence buttons with it. Guess it was cheaper to make the case with crappy buttons instead.

I remember that case. I liked that one too. It would have def been amazing if they used the floating buttons. But I can’t seem to take it off my phone anyways. Still haven’t even looked at my drawer full of cases since I got it lol. I have found cases I like for the iPhone 14 pro but haven’t loved the look of any of them until this one. Ended up getting the Catalyst Influence for my work phone (iPhone 13) so I’m like a Catalyst spokesperson lol

Joe, you still using the Pitaka air case on your watch Ultra?
Did you notice any scratches by the action button after removing it?
That’s funny that you ask that because I was thinking about messaging you to say I just got some new covers for my Ultra in the mail yesterday. It came in a two pack by Ringke. One clear and one black version. I’m rocking the black for a while to see what I think and I actually really like it. I can take better pics later.

This is what I’m rocking for my iPad Pro 12.9 5th gen. Lightweight, kick stand, and non bulky compared to keyboard case like Logitech combo case that my daughter have for her iPad.

Looks nice! Thanks for the suggestion, I’m going to check it out. I have the Apple Smart Folio, and the OtterBox defender pro. I like the OtterBox because it feels well protected but the smartfolio is minimalist and sleek.

Got myself the Midnight Leopard Atelier Case from Ideal of Sweden and really love it... it's really slim, doesn't cover the sides so that I can still see the beautiful color of the iPhone itself and somehow still allows MagSafe to work even though it's not officially MagSafe-compatible. Also it feels really nice in the hand and looks stunning. :)

Nice, I'm going to order a set of these. You like better that the Pitaka fiber one?

Oh okay, thought it was just me! The adhesive is not that strong? Thought it was one of those that would stick on and be hard to fall off.
Dropped my phone in the Rebel Frosted case at Walmart and the protector flew right off. It flies right off the phone with ease but was stuck like a SOB to the dirty Walmart floor :(

So Cal
@Hooterville @Joe123Joe or anyone else who might know. on the catalyst cases, crux and influence, i like that they have the lanyard opening where you don’t have to remove your phone from the case to attach the lanyard. on mine i have a quick release loop but i really only occasionally attach the neck lanyard i have.i don’t want the loop hanging on the case all the time. i was trying to find something i could clip in the opening only when needed. either a wrist strap or neck lanyard or a clip i could diy make into a strap with a really slim clip that would work. the only thing i found that might work is the wandrd wrist strap or neck strap but first i'm not sure if it will fit or be quick enough, the attach and detach. anyways, if you guys/gals have any other ideas i'll appreciate your help.

Yeah either of the Catalyst cases should work perfect for what you’re looking for. You can hook a lanyard, and unhook it quick and easy without ever having to take your phone out!
