Well I’m into my third hour using the frosted Rebel and I’ll just get the obvious out of the way: it ain’t leather and that’s all I’ve used for ages so that’ll likely take longer to adapt. That said, the textures of the materials used are nice on the hands.

This case is tight. The buttons are perfectly seated and about as clicky as buttons on a case could conceivably be. Their use of lines to give this case character is impressive. There’s a lot of curves and angles combined to give this thing an almost aggressive look (REBEL!!)…

On that note, wish they had left off one of the two logos although the placement of the one on the top is genius. One for me, one for everyone else.

The cutouts all the way around the phone are perfect and also make use of those angles. They found a way to make a mute switch opening that my fingertip fits into perfectly - easy on and off for that future action button.

The weight is good. A little heavier than I’m used to with thin leather-coated shells but the weight doesn’t bother me at all and I’m happy for the added protection.

I switched because I have shredded too many a leather case and I’ve found myself bored with every one I currently have. Also, it was getting tiresome having to match my wallpapers to my case and I felt limited. This fixes it all (for now).

I hear ya. This little girl of mine is special to me too! 🥰 I syringe fed her since she was 10 days old. Eating on her own now! (But likes really expensive food 🥴)
Hahaha I can relate…. We make homemade food for her at home… all fresh meat and vegetables… she eats better than me!

Lol right? I feed my baby raw. She will NOT eat kibble like the the rest of my cats. Lol kibble is a play toy for her! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Out of that Rebel Frosted and back into the Catalyst Crux. You literally need a crowbar to get your phone out of that frosted case, what an utter nightmare :(

I’ve been in and out of it a few times and have never had an issue. I had to pull it off to execute a daring in-vehicle screen protector install on my lunch break the first day.

I find using my thumb wrapped in my shirt to push the phone out via the cameras while wrapping fingers around the front makes it pretty effortless.

Yea, I struggled pretty hard getting my phone out. I'm also older than methuselah ;)

Small price to pay, right?

You definitely weren’t kidding about this one being slippery. My wife even made a comment when she noticed I had made a change. That being said I have been very mindful of it and haven’t dropped it yet so everything looks shiny and new.

Definitely one of the most slippery cases out there. The few times I dropped mine was when it slipped out of my pocket and hit the ground. I would put the phone in my front shirt pocket and ever time I would bend over a little, splat right on the ground like a greased pig. Back in my ole favorite Otterbox Symmetry + in black.

For reasons unknown the last year or so has been really bad for just random drops and I consider myself extremely lucky that my phone is intact.

I wear sweatpants or scrubs for work so getting in my vehicle is where I struggle the most and it doesn’t help that my vehicle sits pretty high.

Odd as it sounds, I’m looking forward to the first mishap both to get the fresh case first drop out of the way and to see how it fares.

Edit: photos added to my review above.

Update. I liked the sky apple case but not enough to keep it. I much preferred the lighter version cloud blue they came out with for the 12 pro max. The sky is too saturated for my taste. So I decided to order the lilac apple silicone so that’s on its way! 💜💜

I reckon my Gripzilla case paid for itself 40 times over when I dropped my phone on concrete from about 5 feet up a couple of days ago.
The phone landed on a corner.
No damage to the phone, case, or screen protector.😀

How are you liking that Ringke Ultra cover? I love mine. If I had found it before I would have saved my $40 on the Pitaka… too late to send back to Amazon unfortunately
I actually like it better than the Pitaka. The inside is nice and smooth and less likely to scratch the watches finish. Turns the watch ultra black and IMO looks fantastic. I like that it covers the silver frame up around the display and fits perfect with the Spigen glass protector I have on. The only con I see is the buttons are only hanging on by one little thin piece of plastic and could easily be ripped off. The Ringke Air case is also a nice one. Here's a shot of that one.

Ha I typed too soon before reading this post...

Agree re the Pitaka case. I sent it straight back...

I've got the rubber Caseology case and the Ringke one and think they suit the watch really well.

As you said, they work perfectly with the Spigen screen protector too 👌🏼
