I was aware of the weakness of the Monarch which is why I thought to try the Pathfinder with the intension of returning if not strong enough.

In fact I just got my wallet to try again and yep, firmly attaches and not easy to remove at all.

Give one a try, you can always return if not happy.

He told me that they will receive the case shipment from China on Thursday and will start selling/shipping on Friday the 7th.
Of the new color button sets the only color that will be available at launch is the new "Ultra Orange" color. He said it will be a few weeks until the new sets of buttons will be available.
I really wish there was an option without the MagSafe ring.

The latest Symmetry case now has rubber sides like the Aneu. Don't know if I like this or not.
Have no phone to test the case with so I'm only guessing that it might suck.

Looks like a little saggy butt and banana bow straight out of the box :(

New case alert! This is the Totallee Transparent Clear (Hard) option, which contrary to the name is actually soft/flexible. They also sell a Transparent Clear (Soft) case; not sure how that one feels, but it’s a bit thicker than this one so I didn’t get it.

I also have a Pitaka MagEZ Case 3, which despite also being ultra minimal offers a pretty different experience than this one. This case covers the entire frame and is perfectly flush with the screen on the front and camera glass on the back. The Pitaka leaves quite a bit of frame exposed, but does ever so slightly hug the screen on the front and extend beyond the camera on the back. (Barely.) The Pitaka also has the woven fiber look, while the Totallee is optically very (though not perfectly) clear.

Interestingly, the Pitaka has MagSafe magnets, and this one does not. However, this case seems to work just as well as far as magnetic attraction is concerned. My car mount, Apple wallet, and third party wallet all adhere just as strongly to this case as they do to the Pitaka.

I’m not sure which one I’ll stick with, as both have a good, unique twist on the ultra thin and minimal case. The Totallee is $20 cheaper than the Pitaka, but doesn’t seem as premium. (Although it’s still good quality for what it is.) It took a few tries, but I now have a couple great options for thin case life!

I agree! I’ve tried the Soft in prior years and it’s that typical, too-thick TPU or whatever. You and I seem to have similar tastes in cases, you might like this one. Imagine the Soft case but like 1/2 or 2/3 as thick. It’s also maybe a bit more firm, which is why they call this a Hard case I guess? I didn’t get the Caudabe Veil this year so I don’t know if they’re the same, but if you’re familiar with those this one would be juuust thicker, and a softer material. Every year I try *a lot* of cases until I settle on 1 or 2 I like, and in all that time I’ve never had one quite like this. If it weren’t for the Pitaka, which I also really like, this would definitely be the one.

That sounds like a perfect case to me except no MagSafe is a dealbreaker. Peel has a clear thing MagSafe case and the form is great, but it was hard plastic so I won’t use it (their website is wrong too and says it is soft). I want thin, clear, MagSafe, flexible/TPU. Trying some more Amazon options but haven’t arrived yet.

Sent back my Elderberry silicone case..feels "slimy" and really does attract dust. Lovely colour and fit though.
ESR clear MagSafe compatible case with the stand built in to the camera surround is good, bit chunky but does the job and the stand is very sturdy. But the Ink leather case is very very nice and hasn't left the phone since it arrived on Monday! Might have to invest in another colour Apple leather case down the line.

Apple leather is where I’ve settled for this phone. Luckily it was only the second case I purchased with the first being the Apple clear case that I exchanged for my Ink leather case. Very happy.

I’m with you , this year I’m sticking with the Apple leather case ( and Apple clear on the side). I spent way to much on 11,12 and 13 pro max cases just to end up only to use the Apple leather .

Exactly why I hate the Apple silicone cases.

I wish they’d use the material they make the sport loops out of, honestly. It never feels slimy or attracts lint. I scratched my itch for that elderberry colour by getting an elderberry sport band for my Apple Watch.

That’s fair, but keep in mind I mentioned in another post that the Totallee case I have, despite not having magnets, works just as well with all of my MagSafe accessories as the naked phone, Apple leather case, and Pitaka MagSafe case. The Totallee is thin enough that the phone’s magnets work just as well as normal, or so close that I can’t tell the difference. May be worth checking out 👍
