I know I’m not supposed to get excited about a PhoneRebel launch…but does anyone have more details on how the Oct 7th shipping might work? As far as when you can order?

He told me that they will receive the case shipment from China on Thursday and will start selling/shipping on Friday the 7th.
Of the new color button sets the only color that will be available at launch is the new "Ultra Orange" color. He said it will be a few weeks until the new sets of buttons will be available.

I like the case a lot. I happen to like the raptic more personally. That said- you can’t go wrong with the symmetry

Interesting. I did not like the look of the raptic. How is the grip on it? Is it better or the same as the OB would you say?

I ended up getting a similar response from them. I guess if there are any issues with quality, fit, or buttons it will be easier to just update the website instead of holding peoples pre-order money. So I guess I can appreciate that. They didn't say that... just my thinking of why no pre-order.

I can no longer recommend the UAG Monarch Pro Kevlar 14 Pro Max. Stellar case BUT, very weak magnets. People are reporting this across the whole UAG line. I can confirm this as I was having MagSafe charging issues. It would charge much slower and not fully some times hanging onto the charge while still on the stand. Removed case and it’s perfectly fine. I snagged an Apple silicon case Storm Blue in the mean time. Much stronger magnets and working perfectly fine as well now. I put in an order for the PITAKA MagEZ Case Pro 3 case. I cannot recommend the Raptic case either as their magnets are weak as well. What is it with manufacturers this year putting in weak/cheaper magnets? I am reading Otterbox has issues as well this year….

New case alert! This is the Totallee Transparent Clear (Hard) option, which contrary to the name is actually soft/flexible. They also sell a Transparent Clear (Soft) case; not sure how that one feels, but it’s a bit thicker than this one so I didn’t get it.

I also have a Pitaka MagEZ Case 3, which despite also being ultra minimal offers a pretty different experience than this one. This case covers the entire frame and is perfectly flush with the screen on the front and camera glass on the back. The Pitaka leaves quite a bit of frame exposed, but does ever so slightly hug the screen on the front and extend beyond the camera on the back. (Barely.) The Pitaka also has the woven fiber look, while the Totallee is optically very (though not perfectly) clear.

Interestingly, the Pitaka has MagSafe magnets, and this one does not. However, this case seems to work just as well as far as magnetic attraction is concerned. My car mount, Apple wallet, and third party wallet all adhere just as strongly to this case as they do to the Pitaka.

I’m not sure which one I’ll stick with, as both have a good, unique twist on the ultra thin and minimal case. The Totallee is $20 cheaper than the Pitaka, but doesn’t seem as premium. (Although it’s still good quality for what it is.) It took a few tries, but I now have a couple great options for thin case life!

My iPhone 14 Pro Max Pathfinder MagSafe magnets are good, at least as strong as my Apple Leather case.
