Which Case Did You Get or Recommend For Your New iPhone 14/Plus/Pro/Pro Max?

I don’t know how phone rebel are still in business…. I am pretty sure every single release has been an absolute s*** show.

From memory, their first two versions of cases for whatever iPhones they were for didn’t end up getting shipped until a couple months before the new model phones were released.

So I got this delivered today from Amazon. Will test it out more tomorrow. It is an ok case but nothing to write home about. Anyone else ever purchase anything from them?

I had one of their cases last year and returned it as it was a fingerprint magnet.

Nah, I was curious to compare it against the Synthesis but if I never try the Phone Rebel case I’ll be fine.

Case crackheads might get mad at a dealer but go back if we hear they have the good stuff

I grabbed the ringke matte fusion for the plus. I like it but I know it will yellow in a few weeks.

I might order the caudabe but I LOVE the colour of my blue plus so want to see it.

Also, I went with the LK screen protector this year. Usually go ESR ammorite or spigen. Obviously can’t speak to longevity but the installation which removes dust was fab, specks under the screen protector really get to me so I spend an age installing them.

With this it took the stress out for me.

The fact that yours don’t rattle and mine sounded like chattering teeth means that Mous has a quality issue that they aren’t admitting. Email them and they will tell you it’s working as expected for floating buttons. I ordered a new one today off Amazon. I will compare.

Yea, mine has no rattle at all. Mine has a production code of A101 on the green airoshock material on the inside. Maybe compare with the one you have that rattles and see if yours has a different code?

I also don't have my phone yet so I can't test it thoroughly.

Yes, MagSafe is becoming essential with all of the great accessories now available. How strong are the Parallax magnets? Would you use the case attached to a car vent mount?

It’s really good. I use it on a pro clip in my car. Pricey brand but the best. They have custom made mounts for specific cars.

It takes a lot to start your own business. He had to design, produce, and market those cases and I doubt he has a lot of help. Maybe he deserves being cut a little slack.

It takes a lot to start your own business. He had to design, produce, and market those cases and I doubt he has a lot of help. Maybe he deserves being cut a little slack.

He can have all the slack he wants, but he’s not entitled to a purchase. There are great cases from competitors that can meet their shipping deadlines, so why spend money on someone who can’t?

I’ve never experienced nor seen anyone mention damage to the phone while using Apple leather.

I have. Not recently about around the time of the 6s. My boss had one on his phone. Dropped from waist height onto his deck. Boom. Glass was done.

Overall do you guys prefer leather or silicone case from Apple?

Leather, the silicone looks good until one drop on the pavement and then begins to chip from there. Also, once the Matte texture rubs off it becomes shiny and even more brittle all around.

You may want to stop doing business with Apple then if you’re looking for a company who never has manufacturing or shipping delays even with all of the money and employees they have. Certainly no excuse there.

Probably not most peoples style, but I’m not a fan of plain/solid color phone cases, so I always like something fun for my phone (and I love to change cases every so often). This is a magsafe sonix case, I’ve had them before for my phones and like them.

You may want to stop doing business with Apple then if you’re looking for a company who never has manufacturing or shipping delays even with all of the money and employees they have. Certainly no excuse there.

Phone Rebel has a reputation for missing target dates. Even the Phone Rebel subreddit is full of people joking about how the cases can’t get out on time. Apple in general does not have a reputation for continuously and repeatedly missing launch dates.

My comments about being done with Phone Rebel are in the context of them exhibiting a pattern of behavior in this regard, not one slip up and they’re done.

Holy cow that is a gorgeous case! I have some resin-strengthened wood products and they’re very slippery, is the case slippery too?

Also I was looking on the website and correct me if I’m wrong but these full live edge cases are $189! ☠️
