Regarding Apple cases, i see a difference at the bottom between the silicone case and leather on the speaker grill, the leather is totally open and silicone you have the holes for the grill, gives an impression that the silicone protect more, is there any issues regarding scratching the bottom of the iPhone with the leather case?

I’ve never experienced nor seen anyone mention damage to the phone while using Apple leather.

The frosted back glass feels a lot like the phone itself

Overall do you guys prefer leather or silicone case from Apple?
Leather, if I have to choose. I hate the silicone... looks great out of the box, but is an absolute dust/lint magnet... had one for a iPhone 4 or 5, but after dealing with the cruft that it gathered, never again.

However, I find the leather cases to be pretty slick/slippery - too much so for my usage...

For anyone using or buying Pitaka pro case. For what’s it’s worth the magnets seem fine and hold on my in car holder fine as well as wallet. Buttons work well enough. It’s a great looking case.

From Pitaka:

Thank you very much for your feedback! The reasons are as follows:

First, for the button, MagEZ Case Pro 3 in order to improve the previous problems and strengthen the protection, the TPU of the case is slightly harder than last year’s, which may have an impact, but it can still be pressed. We will feedback to the product department, and strive to do optimization in this area in the future.

Second, about the magnet. Last year, we made the iPhone 13 cases with strong MagSafe magnets, which perform stronger magnetic force than Apple’s MagSafe cases. While our cases may work well in some circumstances, they are not good for wireless charging. Stronger or thicker magnets mean greater influence on wireless charging. This year, we redesigned our cases to seek a balance between protection and slimness, wireless charging speed and magnetic force. The MagEZ Case 3 and MagEZ Case Pro 3 are both thinner and lighter than their predecessors. Still, they feature MagSafe connectivity as strong as Apple’s MagSafe cases. With our upgraded cases, we hope your phone looks great, is comfortable to hold all day, charges at the fastest possible speed, and magnetically holds tight to those MagSafe accessories.
Thanks, I have a pitaka pro 3 on the way so this is helpful to know. Hoping to make it my main case, though I’ve never had one before so who knows

So are all the Phone Rebel cases being released today or already sold out?
They are not sold out. Supposedly going to be sold today but things are not looking good. I signed up for the drop notification email several weeks ago and so far, nothing. With this guy's past I'm thinking the end of November or late December if we are lucky. It's 10/7 and no post on his instagram or updates to the site at all. Just crickets.

I actually kept this one..

And this one is my favorite because of the rear design.

I use both. I like the looks of the caseology but prefer the feel of spigen. Both are awesome.
That's good to know you've been enjoying the Caseology Parallax. It has some nice design details that add visual interest to the case. I haven't seen many video reviews of it yet.

I like that spigen makes both brands. Many similarities. With the 14PM I'm using more magsafe now.

They’ve been pushing 10/7 for weeks now. If they can’t get them up for sale today I’m not going to consider them at all in the future. Don’t make promises you can’t keep.

Yes, MagSafe is becoming essential with all of the great accessories now available. How strong are the Parallax magnets? Would you use the case attached to a car vent mount?

Leather is slick to begin, but becomes less so as the case ages and absorbs oils/impacts. Silicone just gets greasy and gross and eventually falls apart well before it should.
