I did get around to trying on an iPhone 14 Pro case on my 13 Pro, so my verdict is in for anyone else curious. The mismatched camera bump is actually not that bad. What kills is it is, the different positioning of the buttons - none of them work with the case on. Which is a shame, because this Sunglow yellow looks much better on the Sierra Blue phone vs the Lemon Zest we got earlier this year (also Ink and Elderberry match great too) - if the buttons aligned perfectly I’d probably let the camera bump issue slide. I popped the phone with the Sunglow case on the nearby MagSafe charger and it actually worked

Not entirely black, it's definitely a very dark blue. I have a black leather case for my older IPhone 12 Pro, which is truly black.

Here you see them side by side, under a daylight bulb:

That’s the beauty of the Midnight case and any other Apple product which has the Midnight colour - they’re named after a clear night sky, which I find pretty to look at. That being, a very dark blue / bluish black, which is clearly reflected in the leather cases

For the Phone Rebel people, are you getting the Flex or the Rebel? I liked the Flex enough to keep it on my 12 PM, but I was always in and out of it. This time around I'm trying the Rebel but if the sides are slick like before I'm not sure if I'll keep it. And the sides of the phone are slick enough for me which is why I'm hesitating with the Flex.

Yeah, they make sure the buttons are misplaced so you can't use one case on another model. I would just go back and get a silicone case for the 13Pro. I would get Blue Fog, Blue Jay, Lemon Zest, or Chalk Pink. They all work well with your Sierra Blue.

I’m not a fan of semi-open cases, even though I know that was the original design concept for Phone Rebel cases. I worry the corners might pop off by accident, which used to happen to the Apple open bottom cases I had. Full coverage ensures the phone stays in the case.

Also I love the red and that’s not on offer for the Flex so…

…Still debating if I want to get one at all though because the Synthesis really exceeded my expectations.

So I got this delivered today from Amazon. Will test it out more tomorrow. It is an ok case but nothing to write home about. Anyone else ever purchase anything from them?

I have the magsafe version, and its a decent case, but a bit of a fingerprint magnet. Buttons are nice, and it doesn't feel too slippery. Still looking for another case that might catch my eye more. I do have the Nomad Rugged Orange pre-ordered, am looking forward to that.

Yea I have a feeling it’ll come down to the Rebel and the Synthesis for me. If I can ever get them, lol. Patience…..

i had the flex for for the 13 Pro Max and if its the same theres no way the corners will pop off, in fact there so tightly on there some actually broke the case at the camera opening with how strong the case was on the phone lol

I've been going spigen for years. Ordered via amazon for the 14PM. Delivery for tomorrow.

Rugged Armor (magfit). They no longer doing that one with apple logo exposed as they are putting magsafe in most of their cases now. BTW order via amazon not spigen. Cheaper too.
I'm curious what your experience has been with the Rugged Armor. I've seen some very positive reviews on YouTube with people mentioning this case as their favorite in the Spigen lineup. Has the MagSafe magnet been strong for you? Seems like a nice case for reasonable protection yet minimal lip for easy swipe gestures.

For anyone using or buying Pitaka pro case. For what’s it’s worth the magnets seem fine and hold on my in car holder fine as well as wallet. Buttons work well enough. It’s a great looking case.

From Pitaka:

Thank you very much for your feedback! The reasons are as follows:

First, for the button, MagEZ Case Pro 3 in order to improve the previous problems and strengthen the protection, the TPU of the case is slightly harder than last year’s, which may have an impact, but it can still be pressed. We will feedback to the product department, and strive to do optimization in this area in the future.

Second, about the magnet. Last year, we made the iPhone 13 cases with strong MagSafe magnets, which perform stronger magnetic force than Apple’s MagSafe cases. While our cases may work well in some circumstances, they are not good for wireless charging. Stronger or thicker magnets mean greater influence on wireless charging. This year, we redesigned our cases to seek a balance between protection and slimness, wireless charging speed and magnetic force. The MagEZ Case 3 and MagEZ Case Pro 3 are both thinner and lighter than their predecessors. Still, they feature MagSafe connectivity as strong as Apple’s MagSafe cases. With our upgraded cases, we hope your phone looks great, is comfortable to hold all day, charges at the fastest possible speed, and magnetically holds tight to those MagSafe accessories.

Does the Apple clear MagSafe case provide anything that cheaper third-party clear MagSafe cases don’t?

I would love to have that but too sacred that it will get dirty very quickly especially when you have 6 year old who uses your iphone when out and about.

Took me 5 attempts to get that grainy Ink case.

3 orders from Apple and 2 from Amazon lol.

And Umber was from Apple over 4 orders lol.

I actually kept this one..

And this one is my favorite because of the rear design.

I use both. I like the looks of the caseology but prefer the feel of spigen. Both are awesome.

I think this puppy is going back. It is just an ok case but for some reason for me personally it is just not comfortable to hold. Back it goes.

Welp if this isn’t a shining endorsement for the Apple leather case I can’t imagine what would satisfy.

I just attached my shiny new toy to a kite string and strung it up into the air above our house. I’d say it made it about 40 feet up before just dropping out onto the new pavement behind our house.

Two corners had popped out but other than the tiny scuff in the bottom left corner the phone is pristine. 👏

What’s really strange is the area around the DI is fine in person. Everything looks normal now and did when I took those photos.
That is a pretty shining endorsement for the case. Would’ve expected the screen and back glass to shatter, dropped at any decent height inside the apple leather case.

Yea, when I go to get the Ink and Midnight, I'll go to Best Buy where I can pop open a bunch of cases and find the best one.
