What band did you get with the ultra? orange alpine I am guessing lol
Actually I went with the yellow ocean band. After seeing reviews how that buckle on the alpine loop can scratch the side of the watch, I scrapped that idea. Wanted that orange though.

Ultra watch should be here next week. I need to start a GoFund me page soon

I should’ve clarified that I have the Caudabe Lucid Clear case with MagSafe

Is your Lucid really tight, hard to get off, leaves scratches on the inside of your case? I’m ready to return mine and try a Phone Rebel clear case.

Nah, I have had the green alpine since day 1 and hasn't even looked like scratching it, I even surf in it.

I really like she Sheath. I just like the Phone Rebel better. The phone seems better protected while not feeling much bigger (if at all) than the Sheath. On top of that the Phone Rebel came with a glass screen protector (I hadn’t gotten one yet) and the ability to customize buttons, for about the same amount of money as the Sheath. So better protection and better value.

I really liked the Flex as well. My only knock against it is when using it as a phone it wasn’t as comfortable to me as the Rebel. With everything else the two were equal or I liked the Flex a little more.

I like both. Maybe I didn’t give the Synthesis a fair shot since I got it at the same time as the Phone Rebel products. But for me having the same grip across the whole phone with the Sheath was great. The Synthesis’ texture across the case isn’t as aggressive as the Sheath except for the side grips. For those areas the phone felt slick to me and my typically dry hands.

If the Synthesis had a texture closer to the Sheath across the case, PLUS the side grips that would be a winner for me.
I also bought both the gen 4 rebel and the flex. Have been a caudabe user since the iPhone 6S (viel) then sheath for iPhone X and 12 pro max. Love the sheath.

The rebel gen 4 is noticeable thicker than the sheath but yeah the rebel would offer more protection. However for everyday use it’s almost certainly overkill compared to the sheath. I do find the rebel very comfortable but wish the lip was lower on the bottom and sides for smoother swiping. Also the buttons just don’t feel great to me. Volume buttons feel fine but the power button is stiff. Especially when I use the red buttons I purchased. Buttons bother me so much I just can’t live with the case like that.

The flex has been great. I love feeling the stainless steel sides. I don’t use the side wraps as I don’t want to ruin the feel. I love the soft back of the Kevlar-like fiber. Overall, love the flex. This will be my daily. I might get the crimson red sheath when it becomes available just to switch between the two as the sheath is just so good imo.

For the power button on the Rebel, try removing the tape from the black button that the case came with and out that on your red power button. I had the same issue and someone else in this thread mentioned that and it’s worked like a charm since then.

I agree with you, the Sheath is a nice case. I’m trying to force myself to keep one or two cases max. Haven’t decided between the Sheath, Rebel, or Flex. I rarely drop my phone so the Sheath would probably be fine. Ugh I dunno…

I’ve dropped my 12 pro max with the sheath many times. Phone still looks brand new! I think even the flex will give good protection too.

I did try the tape trick on the rebel button. Still feels off. IMO

Didn’t know you could get those magnets.

They’re a bloody good idea

I could not find a thin smoked protective magsafe case for 14pm. they have these on the 13 series. so this was my last option lol. imo the ringke fusion is one of the nicest in hand feel and grip case. edges are not rounded but squarish. the halolock ring is thin and strong. either you'll like the feel of the back case with magnet or you hate it.

The sag is deal breaker for me. It shouldn’t happen.
Same here , I wish I can find a case that does not have sag other than Apple cases. I’m tempted to try the new lumen at the Apple Store , the one video I seen shows a tight fit but they don’t do a tug test on the sides and bottom .

No it’s not tight and there’s no scratches on the inside of the case. The case is definitely bigger than the 12 Pro Max and it feel more slippery to me. I just press on the camera lens to pull the case off.
