Just received the once loved by many now hated by many case. The Synthesis in gray. The gray Sheath was the only Sheath I kept and I love the contrast with the Blue Ti phone and I am just as satisfied with this combo.

To me the Synthesis is such a great case. I had the first batches and got turned off from the MagSafe dislodging inside the case issue, Caudabe said they’d work on the issue and I haven’t heard anyone complain about it much so gave it some time and ordered it. The buttons don’t bother me, yes they could be more tactile but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Otherwise an all around great case imo.

For $21 and change out the door I am definitely happy I got it!

I’m curious about the Spigen cases being discussed. Many years ago when they first came out the quality was competitive with other top brands, but at one point they went down market and cheapened their case line significantly in both price and quality. After that I quit buying their cases and haven’t since. For those who have their recent cases, have they improved recently or has the quality been the same over the last 5+ years? My recollection is that when they lowered their prices their cases became much more flimsy and cheaply constructed.

I’ve been using Spigen cases since, I think, the iPhone 7.

Ive always thought of them as being well made and always feel nice in the hand. Had them for every iPhone since and love my ultra hybrid zero one case, prefer it to my Mous Limitless and ESR classic hybrid but I’d say on par with the fine woven. Been and done Caudabe in the past and not a fan anymore, that goes for UAG too.
An Otterbox Lumen and a Gripmunk are my next targets.

If it was lighter with better buttons, it would probably be my favorite case. Unfortunately those two factors, for me, makes the case sit in a drawer most of the time.

Neither of those are issues for me, we’re talking mere grams here. You just ordered the Phone Rebel good luck with that one’s heft lol
Yea I agree. The Synthesis weighs 40g for iPhone 15 pro. That’s on par for the protection is provides. My Schpeegen Mag Armor weighs 40g and so does my Munky.

I returned my Synthesis because of the buttons. Wonder if they got a new batch?

is the top of this green Mous case all bent out of shape and deformed or is it just the picture?

When you put the iPhone does it go away?

Maybe the OP of that post will let us know.
I'm so glad you've spotted this - I had this issue! I had the atlantic blue and speckled versions, absolutely loved them both but both cases had this and after a while it bugged me. In the end I returned and repalced them, the replacements are due to be delivered to me tomorrow. I had hoped it was just a few baduns, but now seeing this pic it makes me think this is on all Mous Limitless cases and my delivery tomorrow is going to disappoint 😢

Picked up one of flolabs 3D screen protectors and was curious about this “Napa” leather case they offer. Comes in any color you want, as long as that color is black.

Very stiff case, aluminum buttons with microfiber on the back and inside along each button.

Only knock-Visible gap at the bottom lip where the usb-c cutout is a bit weird (think I’ve seen this complaint with some other cases).

For $16 not bad.

Why I said for me. I’m glad it’s for you. I want to enjoy the light feeling of the titanium phone, that’s why I am enjoying lightweight cases.

The rebel is for pure entertainment and reviews. Nothing more. I appreciate you monitoring my order history though lol

I don’t think so. They’ve only mentioned revision with the MagSafe dislodging inside issue. I doubt they’ll do anything further for the buttons.

I’ve had 4 Limitless cases this year and haven’t had that problem with any of them. I’d guess it’s a defect limited to one run of cases, but please let us know how it turns out either way.

That green looks sick.

When you’re referring to floating button do you mean non air slits?
floating button means they are very clicky. Excellent buttons.
Same clickiness as Apple Original leather/finewoven case.

First person I heard using the word floating buttons, is MobileReviewsEh YouTube channel.

Maybe I should ask MobileReviewsEh what it means. But that’s what I think it means anyway.

Is it leather all around or TPU sides?
