Nice case though. How do you like it?

It’s a nice feel in hand silicone with good texture ..action button open but not hard to press in..rest of the fit is good all around including clicky buttons and magnet stuck to my car mount with enough strength..

For sure. They’re now permanently on my “No Buy” list. Intellectual property theft is theft, plain and simple. The same could be said about AliExpress knock offs, but that’s a topic for another day.

floating button means they are very clicky. Excellent buttons.
Same clickiness as Apple Original leather/finewoven case.

First person I heard using the word floating buttons, is MobileReviewsEh YouTube channel.

Maybe I should ask MobileReviewsEh what it means. But that’s what I think it means anyway.

I have heard this sentiment (also first from MobileReviewsEh) as well and think you’re correct in what constitutes “floating” buttons.

Personally, I don’t notice some drastic improvement between cases with fixed buttons and “floating” buttons. In fact, I have had more issues with floating button cases. They don’t always sit right, and have the propensity to rattle or be hypersensitive. Good fixed buttons (as I am calling them) seem to have a more consistent feeling from button to button.

Is it leather all around or TPU sides?

Leather all the way around.

I tried going back to the Modern Leather but the depth at the bottom and collecting lint and dust over a couple of days reminded me why I went away from it. My silicone experiment failed too.

Back in the Sheath. Best fitting case this year. May throw my hat in the caseless ring when I get tired of the texture.

Does a MagSafe charger leave a permanent ring? I’ve seen that mentioned in a couple of reviews…
It did leave a ring after charging but it seemed to disappear after a good wiping with a microfiber. I'm going to charge again tonight and I'll report back if I get the same results.

I haven't found a clear or frosted case that isn't slippery when its plastic backed. A raised back edge like Kisen clear would be good though it helps with grip

Back in the synthesis. Buttons aside, love this case. Gripmonkey a close second.
I’m running the monkey now at work. Nice case and good grip.

It’s the same weight as my Schpeegen Mag Armor. I prefer the aesthetics of the Mag with its beveled edges which I think makes it feel thinner.

The monkey seems more “thick” than the mag but like I said they weigh the same. I think it’s an illusion that the monkey provides better protection than the mag.

I highly recommend the dbrand Ghost. It is a hybrid clear case with great aesthetics and grip.

FYI, you’ll actually get two cases:

We're currently working on a more scratch-resistant version of the Ghost Case, with an expected ship date of April. As a result, you will receive two Ghost Cases: one now, and a better version next year.

Those of you with the Nomad Sport case, how is the high gloss back holding up to scuffs, hairlines and scratches?

the 16 pro is rumored to have another button on the lower right side for a camera shutter button. i’ve had an xperia phone with a similarly placed shutter button and it’s great. so hopefully we will need new cases. joe and hooter need to keep the economy stable anyways. lol
I sometimes wonder if Apple is actually in cahoots with the case manufacturers introducing new designs to their phones so we have to buy all new cases every time we change our phones. 😉😜🤣🤣
